I am a muslim woman and I loved this brief, but clear intro. I see and work with many sikhs and I notice how much goodness they bring even going as far as war torn Syria to feed and help out. You are wonderful people and you deserve more recognition for all you do.

Your pronunciation of "Punjabi words" is so perfect and natural and your facts are precisely accurate. So good to see this video.

She still says Seeks though and not Sikh(a)s, as well as some other slight mispronunciations, its not perfect mate bad to hear from you as you supposedly have Singh in your name and whatever you say should be literally and technically factual in some form and never false.

India is proud to have "Sikhism" born on the great land.
Hindus respects sikhs as much as they do Hindus
Guru Teg Bahadur sacrificed his life for hindus to protect from islamic terror
One can see them giving free food and drinks during summer.
They are one of the finest , respected and amazing people to be with.
    Long Live Sikhism.

Sikh Gurus God in human body came to show righteous way of living to whole world. Anyone could follow them but they never forced anyone. Very unique religion as compared to other religions. Reason is that Gurugranth sahib was written by Gurus itself

Those Sikhs/non-Sikhs that undergo The initiation ceremony, become The Guru's Sikh(Gursikhs). These are the Pure ones. The personal bodyguards and honour of the Sikh faith and, temples.

In a nutshell sikhism evolved to end mughal rule and keep afghans out of India. Thanks to Sikhs India is still a secular country.

Shalini Agrawal in a nutshell, you are wrong. Sikhism was born by the will of almighty. Sikhism isn't confined to a certain region called India. It is a universal faith and as our guru said " recognise the WHOLE HUMAN RACE as one" Whole Human Race, not just India, remember that!

Tarvinder Singh True dude, Hindus have this common misconception that Sikhism was 'created' to protect Hindus !

    • @amansingh-ls1cj
      @amansingh-ls1cj 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

WRONG..This is Indian (Hindu) Propaganda to portray as kind of protectors of Hindus. In reality, Sikhism was born as result of evil system of discrimination, inequality and casteism that was prevalent in India due to so called high castes HINDUS . Mughal rule came later .

Strangely Sikhs have lowest sex ratio among all religions in India. (census 2011)
    903 females per 1000 males.

ranjeet singh I have no intention of making it Hindu v. Sikh, I am student of Sociology so I am just being factual here. I was amazed to learn that that Sikh philosophy is so progressive. I think Sikhism is one of the few organised religion who's teaching is relevant to contemporary times. Not only Sikhs but non Sikhs should also look to Gurunanak's teachings for inspiration.
To substantiate my claim I sending you the link of census data.

no Hindus have one of the worse sex ratio....like Sikhs, Jains and Hindus are practicing sex selective abortion.

    POINT NO.11
SIKHISM DOSNT MAKE SENSE, TRUTH WAS DELIVERED BY GURU 500yr AGO IF GOD MADE HUMAN BEINGS AND MADE THE UNIVERSE ITS COMMON SENSE THAT GOD DELIVERED THE TRUTH TO THE FIRST HUMAN.
AS SOON HUMAN BEINGS WERE CREATED TRUTH SHOULD BE DELIVERED TO THAT HUMAN BEING.
IN ISLAM ALLAH CREATED THE FIRST HUMAN BEING (PROPHET ADAM) FIRST MESSAGE FIRST TRUTH
