The absolute LAST person that I need to hear about MLB personnel management and attendance is David Samson. The team that won the WS in 2003 was built by Other People and employees they stole from the Expos. He and his step-Dad greenlighted arguably the two worst free agent signings the Expos ever made: Hideki Irabu and Graeme Lloyd. They fired Felipe Alou. The year the Marlins won the WS, their attendance was 15th of 16 in the NL. AFTER a WS, it went up to 14th. Blair, you were in Montreal when Sampson and Loria were the major component of the departure of the team. Samson's big claim to fame is engineering the mechanics that allowed Loria to get out of Montreal and take over the Marlins, cashing in bigtime each time he sold a team and then not investing in the teams he owned. Don't pretend this guy - who never got a job in MLB except through nepotism - has something to say that we need to hear. There is no need to massage his oversized ego.

Interesting. My issue with the free agent market is that most players don't want to go to Toronto. Players wanted to come in the early 90's but times have changed. I think trades will be how the organization fixes itself. The team needs a huge overhaul. I would trade both Bo and Vladdy. They need different players. I don't think either are worth what they'll want as free agents. Hopefully Bo can have a good second half because the trade value has never been lower. I was looking at Tom Glavine's hitting and Bo's numbers are close to many 90's pitchers. So many things aren't working.

Problem with Vlad Jr. is his average is up, but HR power is way down. And like the Leafs, he can't perform in the playoffs.

Why would you not lock up Guererro this guy is a moron . He’s our franchise player every one loves him . This is Bo only bad year I would hate to get rid of him because of one bad year . He’s one of the best hitters in league every other year

What would you offer to lock him up? I think Samson is saying Guererro will probably ask for 10+ yrs/ $300+ million.
I don't follow the Blue Jays. I don't know what Guerrero brings to the table besides a power bat (glove or clutch hitting?).
@@HHSGDFootballJPD I think he’s worth around $25 million a year , 30 at the most. So yeah if it’s a 10 year contract I’m sure it’ll be anywhere from $250-$300 mill
