Wow. Once again, I almost did not watch this because the dress isn't something I can wear. Yet, again, I learned some valuable things from this video, best place to start a peplum, for example. And I finished the video inspired to go through the many t-shirts I've thrifted.
I absolutely hate critiquing stitchers and am so glad finally yu have shown how seamstress scissors are to CUT.... long long strokes to the snip‼️ so many tell on themselves that they don't kno this FIRST sewing rule. godawful, I tell ya. Ty. Ty. Ty. 👊🤪✂️
As an old school thrifter, I'm here for the low-priced thrift shops.❤ It's hard for me to shop the high-end thrift stores. 🤣 But to each his/her own.😊 One of the benefits of knowing how to sew is that you can make something look high-end. I was so sad to hear about the shop owner who has had problems with people casing her store. So glad that you were able to make a purchase there. I enjoyed hearing your internal dialog....going back and forth over items, putting stuff back that's similar to what you already have, deciding not to purchase for picky family members...yep. I can definitely relate to it ALL😉 Ahh the joys of thrifting😁😁😁
You are just amazing. Imagine how many Tshirts I have thrown away. Never again. Thanh you and may God continue to bless your hands and wisdom to do more . I would love to learn how to add shoulder pads ❤❤❤
You know, I wasn't that interested in the dress but I thought, this fabulous lady always teaches something good. So I watched and within a few minutes you give a great tip on how to cut a clean line, which I always have trouble with. Thanks Angelina!
I visited to a warehouse in London Silver Town E-16 called Thrift factory Kilo sale !! They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there. They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and Trollies. But it was worth it as many where (Brands) New with Tags are available.
I cut the bottom of my hubby T-shirt off, cut the slits & cut strips made a tie up skirt. I ❤ it! No sew so comfy. He didn’t know until he saw the beach design on my butt 😂😂😂😂
@@BlueprintDIY saw you rockibg the boots too! ❤️🔥 In Texas qe love our boots! 🥰 Speaking of do you have any ideas to make short blended flannel or plaid skirts (kind of a short version of the long 1 you made) to rock w/boots for Fall? Oooh & blended shirt dresses in plaid?
This was totally great and when you think about it, this could be done on sleeves or at the hem of a skirt or pair of pants. The use of this technique is endless. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Cute and boots remind me of some beautiful high boots I had in 1979. Funny to hear you say for hippies and biker shorts. I think here in CA we say biking shorts but maybe bikers would like them too and those boots too, LOL! I do have an old pair of Harley Davidson boots too. Loved my suede lace up warm tan boots as a 10 year old and platform shoes and purple suede long blazer like jacket too. Saying hippies and bikers though has peaked my interest. I'm thinking what? What is she going to show for hippies? Bikers? Draws me in.
I have a lot of projects that are unfinished my sewing machine I can't figure out how to thread it and I need help however I did learn one thing if you want exact and precision stuff using iron and fold along your seams before you so it'll make your life so much easier that goes for t-shirts sewing too things stay in place better wait till they cool down though I've burnt myself on fabric
I always love your sense of style! I swear "Bephie" Berkitt from the Hype had on the plaid flowy skirt that you made from flannels in their latest season.
Awesome that dress turned out just great !! I will be trying this DIY .I took a man dress shirt added denim to the side panels so that I didn't have to wear anything underneath. You rock!! The way it dips up on the sides Just added denim triangles on the sides.you inspire me so much. Luv ya
Love this one so creative. I’ve got to save it. Thanks for sharing your little mistake since I get so frustrated and give up when I do this. Do you sell your dresses?
Hello new to your channel and I love it. My question have you ever done sweat shirt? Using 1 or 2 colors I've seen on clothing sites that style and love to see you do one. with off the shoulder one side and full sleeve other side
I’ve heard that but haven’t found it to be totally true. If you have like a little bumpy spot on your scissor blade, the aluminum foil can help, but it doesn’t make them back like new.
This is specific to a drop waist dress. I’m not saying drop waist is best, just the placement of the ruffle for a drop waist dress is best at the fullest part of your hips.
I'm good at sewing I'm good at the machine I'm good at hand sewing but this new sewing machine I have I didn't have the book with it and I have no idea how to thread it that is the one thing that I've never been good at is threading the damn things I really need help
I I almost forgot woman that is the cutest one I've seen in a minute you did an excellent job that is just fabulous and those boots damn baby those are sexy my husband liked them too
What could you do with a letterman’s jacket? I rescued my son’s that he was about to throw away. I would like to make it “mine” I don’t want to wear it with his name, number and high school on it now that HIS football seasons are over!
I LOVE how you didn’t just quit the project and you showed how you altered the plan! 🥰
Thanks! If I quit after messing up, I’d never have any finished projects 😆
The styling brought it to a whole other level
Thank you ☺️
I LOVE the sound of sharp ✂️ cutting fabric!!!!
Yesss, so satisfying!

Yayyy! Just to clarify, the hip is the best place for a drop waist dress. If it’s a peplum top, it’s the small of the waist.

I’m glad you leave your “dumb” sewing moments in! I had one yesterday, and another one last week, and…
Exactly, they happen so often I can’t name them all. 🤦🏾♀️😆
Okay sis, I see you.....the boots and the jacket dressed it up. Love it.
Thanks ☺️

🤣🤣 That’s too funny!
I wanna see you do the sleeves with this technique on different fabric if possible
It only works on stretchy fabric that doesn’t fray. That’s why I always do t-shirts.
Loved this ❤ thank you for the inspiration 🙌🏾
Thanks Tiffany 💕
You are sooooo creative! Love, love, love your work!!!

I noticed your layers do not roll. How did you do that?
do you think it's possible to do with a sweat shirt or crew neck
It doesn’t fray so you probably could.
Is it double ruffled? One wider than the other ..? Ican see 2 ruffles
Yes, it has two ruffles 👍🏾

Hey, girl, you can sharpen scissors by cutting aluminum foil!!

Letterman jackets are all the rage right now so I’d replace them with patches that you like and maybe some hand embroidery.
I just want to let you know that one for israel is sending ads on your vids, talking about unimaginable suffering of the Israeli people.
