@sarahmarietravel June is definitely more busy with tourists. But in all honesty I think the Big Island is busy every month of the year. I guess we just got lucky and totally winged our entire 9 day stay there. Go....early is what we learned as far as beaches. Mahola!

Next time go to Hapuna Beach or Waialea Beach. Both beautiful and easy access (no hiking to get there).

The last beach is the best one. We we're there in early May. We went early and there was no one there. Just a seal.
