One minute in and I already love this. Farstrike has genuinely been my favourite spell conceptually since the very first time I played Dominions. The sheer flex of opening a portal across the entire battlefield just to punch someone in the face is amazing.
That should not be too complicated afterall it essentially replaces a probably fairly Komplex ai script with "farstrike". Isnt there a better casting mod that meddled with this on a more serious note?
All you need to do is create a mod with the #selectspell tag, and change every offensive combat spell that isn't far strike to be like 9 nature and require 9 nature gems. That way they can still cast buffs, but far strike is the only offensive spell the mages can throw at the enemy mages.
This is pretty cool, but i feel like the skeleton summoning and open spell casting is not really to the spirit of the wizard punch dual,but it's still fun.
Nice, but you should probably require every mage to have five spells scripted - either farstrike or else those buffing spells you permit. There's nothing you can do when they go off-script - without a mod, at least - but it's only fair that everyone has to cast farstrike at least until they _all_ go off-script.
I think for something like this you should have the more detailed battle log. At least the "2" one so that it's easier to tell what spells are being cast
So, Broken25 here, my plan here wasn't so much to kill enemies with skeletons (i knew that wouldn't really work against E/S mages with superhigh prot and ethereal) but use them to distract while the crystal mages dropped meteors. Kind of a shame than all the gifts missed but oh well.

Honestly I think there needed to be a mod that will force limit pool of spells to be cast.
Yep that would be more on the point ... only offensive spell off-script (or even available) should be farstrike. The skelie spam is dishonorable ...

At the very least, everyone should be required to fill up their five slots scripting spells at the start. The whole _point_ was farstrike, after all.
