    There are gaping differences in the desire for sex between males and females. Most men are able to satisfy their sexual needs with sex workers and enjoy watching porn. On the other hand, very few women are able to enjoy sex with someone they are not attracted to and they prefer reading romantic novels and find porn nauseating and degrading. Surprisingly, a woman is fined for asking to be paid for having sex while porn film makers abuse women in unspeakable ways on camera and are allowed to make millions.

      I really adore Julie, but that Noor Muqaddam part was hurtful. Noor loved that guy but she knew he is the wrong guy and that's why she decided to break up with him. Yes I understand Julie when she said he was dangerous and Noor should have been more protective for herself but sometimes when you love someone so much you cannot just break up on phone. That last meeting was important but he did unimaginable thing to her.

    • @sumramalik9510
      @sumramalik9510 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The main point is what Julie has highlighted throughout her talk is there's no concept of men/women friendship or relationship , neither in our religion nor in our society.
      When we break the norms n forget our limitations in the name of friendship, love ishq mohabbat then please ! Don't play blame game or feel empathy for any of these girls Like Noor, qandeel or Measha. We are putting ourselves on the plate for them lot. How can you say to your so called Love...not to touch or talk romantic to you when you went to him in serene isolation and privacy? After all , opposite sex especially lovers or X lovers are always like fire. No one 'ld escape from the burn or the heat of it. Damage is for sure consequently no matter how big speech one delivers.

      She is so disappointing. I can’t stop thinking that a person who has struggled so much can be problematic to this extent. I disliked her when she after talked about modern day mother’s on “ the naked truth “ and this interview proved that she is a typical misogynist, extremely patriarchal and biased. She has learnt how to gain brownie points from men by shitting on women and pretends to be woke about social issues. Rather she is totally oblivious about women struggles

    To be very honest, there were several arguments based on emotion rather than logic. I appreciate host who remained calm (though reluctantly). Most of her arguments (Julie') are so baseless and there was only bombardment of words. She is so confused between religion, democracy, freedom and liberalism.

    How she pressed the anchor to express her own political opinions and then proceeded to not even properly listen to her arguments is very disrespectful. The work that she's done for the transgender community in Pakistan is commendable but this is just one thing that didn't sit right with me. She was really crude in the interview.
    I know that differences of opinion can exist and debate on these issues is possible, but what she did wasn't a debate. It was more like invalidating the other person's opinion and only pushing forward her own. Also, she commits a lot of logical fallacies in her make-shift argument which is just sad to see in a person that's done so much for the country. Was really disappointed when I saw that.

      Julie was and is an inspiration, but this time she has disappointed with her imposing attitude. Why take bahria town as an example? Why not women being exploited in interior districts? And if we start comparing men and women on basis of clothes then why not the liberty of roaming in streets. Julie has projected one-sided argument while completely ignoring the ground facts and realities. She should not take urban society as a case study. Qasam dila k in sey puchna chahiye k voilence mard pe zyada hota hai ya orat??

    • @abdullahtahir5341
      @abdullahtahir5341 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@syedakeenjhar5385 It happens even in urban areas but of course Julie doesn't admit that it does. I've seen countless examples in real life. You even hear about it in the news. This is not an issue exclusive to the rural areas. It is literally everywhere except maybe the most privileged societies in Pakistan. Julie generalizes too much when talking about these issues and even the anchor calls her out on it.

    I randomly selected this video, but came out as an admirer of Julie and the Show! But one thing I missed throughout the discussion is, 'responsibility of the state '. Neither the host nor Julie touched this topic. In many circumstances, your personal choices coincide with state's responsibility. For example,if I am smoking at public place and taking it my personal choice, at the same time I must be violating some 'laws'. Here, my personal choice is to capitulate to state's choice! The logic of my choice can't work everywhere!

    So disappointed to realize that a person as good hearted and brilliant as Julie is clueless about the extreme gender discrimination faced by women! 😢She makes derogatory, sweeping statements such as " women like to play the victim card " and "women just sit at home and all they want is to marry a rich man" 😱 She needs to spend more time with the women who represent the majority, not just those few who are married to rich men and behave like glorified, spoiled slaves. I find it very strange that Julie has not observed the hard work women must do day and night without pay or any time off (even on weekends and national holidays) and suffer mental and physical abuse just to survive.

    My dear Julie, one should not judge people on the basis of their "higher" education or "noble" profession. A doctor can be cruel and greedy while a dancer/sex worker can perform great acts of kindness and serve humanity much more. There are many scholars, activists, priests/mullahs/ nuns and patriotic soldiers who have performed unspeakable crimes. Why not respect all regardless of their worldly achievements or a lowly profession, unless they are proven guilty of a crime

    Dear Julie, please try to understand that dancing or having sex with a person is NOT AN EASY WAY to make money (for 99% of humans beings). Scientific Studies have proven that repeatedly. In Sweden, a woman selling sex or dancing for money is not punished but sent to a good treatment facility and her background is explored to save her children or punish her pimp, sex traffickers, etc.
