I am so happy to watch this series, and see these children get first hand lessons from a committed GuruJi. I remember Raag Yaman, and this must sing ... so vividly. Our Guruji used to come to our home. My Mother used to join and sing along during the instructions and later during "riyaz." That was beginning of our love for classical music, which continued with both of us learning to play the Sitar. For me, it later shifted to Sugam Sangeet, and mainly to Rabindra Sangeet. My career aspirations took me to another extreme ... engineering ... but music always was and still remains an integral part of my very being. I often wonder would I have been somewhere had I continued with music? 🙂
Rona aa gaya sir...Bachpan ki yaad aa gayi jab yeh raga seekha tha! Ab class me jakar seekhne ki umar nahi rahi but one can practice these notes at home n enjoy the raga. ..and polish existing knowledge (very little ) ..thank you sir. God Bless
