Great for bounding along for long runs and getting protection in your legs. Definitely different to other shoes and I’m glad I have it in my large rotation. I think it’s more of a prototype shoe that has just about everything in it. It would be great for heavier runners to get the most out of the different layers of foam and the plate. Doesn’t feel as heavy as it is and surprisingly stable for its hight.
Hi Paul, perfectly summarised and probably why there are comparisons with the Prime X, also a prototype, experimental shoe. Both very different, but both were innovation shoes, where Hoka and Adidas got to try things out.
@@Runnabl3-ed I don't. I have the Prime X2 Strung but have really been on the fence about maybe getting the Skyward X or Cielo? I also really want to try the new Asics Glideride max lol My missus says I've got a trainer addiction 😂
So I always think there are worse things to have as an addiction :) So of the two I would say Cielo is definitely the more fun, special shoe. I think a lot of people end up using the Cielo as a super trainer, as once you start running in them, you won’t want to keep them for just races. They literally make me smile when I run in them. Just like with the Prime X.

Do you have the Cielo?
Hi Paul! Indeed I do, currently my favourite shoe and ran this years London and Chicago Marathon in it! What about you?
