Amazing that you managed to maintain 5 min/km pace for most of the way. The first section was mostly downhill for about 5km, so it can give you a false sense of confidence. It was my first marathon too, but I took a couple of hours longer than you!

Agreed, it can get tempting to go fast downhill, but the main thing is to control the pace. Congrats on completing your first marathon too!🎉
