Types of mixtures -
True Solution(Homogenous) - Uniformly mixed and cannot be seen through naked eyes and can be properly filtered when filtered through filter paper i.e., Salt with water.
Size - Less then 1 nm
Colloids(May differ)- Components, the size of which comes between True Solution and Suspension and particles cannot be seen but residue can be found when filtered through micro molecular membrane i.e., Milk.
Size - 1 & 100 nm
Suspension(Heterogeneous) - Not uniformly mixed and particles can be seen through naked eyes and residue can be found when filtered through filter paper i.e., Sand with water.

Hi there! That's a great question! You can tell if a solution is a homogeneous or colloidal solution by looking at the size of the particles that make up the solution.
