I have the VNLA V lines. What would be good plates to upgrade to. Also what differences would it make on the feel of skating. Price range $100-$250, a couple of suggestions from cheapest up would be great. Thank you for your time
All the vlip axles of yesteryear are all but completely gone, they're currently being hoarded by enthusiasts. The DA45 trucks aren't available with flip axles because sure-grip no longer makes those axles. If you do find a set, you're going to have to find someone to press the old ones out and the new ones in
re: compatibility-- Many of my friends disagree with my Sunlite love but it's like.... okay you broke your Reactor kingpin weeks ago and still don't have a replacement, I can order one from a hardware store or any skateboard shop and have one in a few days... Same with wide trucks. I see my friends waiting months for Disco and Chaya wide truck availability but with a Sunlite or some others I can buy used Pennies any day of the week for about $20. I love the look of a Classic/Century but not so much for nostalgia, more bc there's no bells and whistles or weird angles (sorry I think Avanti/Avenger are boxy and ugly). It's so sleek I love there's nothing you don't need, including design.
Are you sure Harry's stud would work on these? I'm asking bc I bought an old set of Centuries on ebay and I hated the old flat head kingpin that came with it, but I had a hell of a time replacing them in Europe. I found that the SG hex head kingpins they sell for the Super X, Jogger, Competitor, and Cyclone did not feel like they were the same threading; I had to get the 3/8 Allen kingpin for the Classic. Anyway when I was asking SG about their kingpin threading they kept telling me everything has the same threading, but that did not end up being the case.
@@rollerskateuniverse6763 I invite you to compare kingpins closely. Unless I got some set someone changed the threading of-always possible with eBay finds- they really did not strike me as compatible.
Thanks for the information. You have great advice.

Atom pilot falcons are pretty good!
When buying these on their website do they come with two or are they sold individually
Plates are sold as a pair
Hi do you know of a clip axel that will fit this plate… I was looking at sure grip DA45 but not sure if it will fit… any advise would be great

As far as I'm aware, they're all the same thread pitch and diameter, so the Harry's studs should work
