In a camera that has wifi, why would you have to set time and date ??

I just purchased my G95 and I'm trying to use the flash. There's not much info in the manual on how to turn the flash on. Does anyone have step by step to activate the flash? Thank you!

On the left side near your hot shoot mount there is a little switch with a squiggly arrow switch that it will pop your flash on your camera will know automatically that you want to use the flash

@@aiedigitalvisuals3486 I tried that but the flash did not go off. I was playing around with the WB and saw the flash Icon and set it to that and it worked. Thank you, for your response.

One needs to know that the flash will only work with the mechanical shutter, not the electrical shutter. One can change this in the menu in the Record section.
