this is the kind of videos i live for, not giant studios disguising themselves as channels churning out slop, but a couple of guys with a camera, 50lbs of tannerite, and literal truckloads of pumpkins keep it up man
As someone who has mixed 50lbs of this stuff, it was a huge pain to get it all mixed. Made a huge pop, though, so it's totally worth it. Congratulations on your new pumpkin pasture!
Cool! Loads of fun watching it! Lol! I would suggest if you do this again make a simple wood tunnel ( like 2x4s ) for the bullet in alignment with where your shooting from. Then burry the tunnel and you can have the Tannerite in the actual middle of the pile. That should evenly distribute the blast to everything. Just an idea. Still fun to watch you do it!
With things like this it’s like certain baking recipes and making an emulsion sauce; if you don’t follow the recipe exactly, it isn’t going to work! It’s all chemistry. 😂 Nice video and awesome explosion. Well done!
Now that's how you spread pumpkin seeds . When the ground temperature gets right and enough water gets to the seeds there will be pumpkin vines everywhere.
@@adamhuffman3354 I got a holding of one of them pecan and punkin pies at Thanksgiving. Something went wrong,it was nasty. I think it was the young skinny cook that made it
So with the plate on the ground, use a post to use as an aiming point so you can completely cover the reactive target and get the best dispersal of pumpkin.
Next time you need a plate underneath and then LARGE GARBAGE BAGS of WATER in front to push the charge backwards and into/through the larger pile of pumpkins. Even though the water will seem all squishy when you are placing them in front and to the side of the tannerite, at the moment of rapid expansion of the tannerite the water will MOMENTARILY act "immovable shaping the force of the explosion backwards enough to make MORE of the energy go through the pumpkin patch... TRUST ME....
If it works anything like it did for me and my friends you're gonna have a field of pumkin vines next year lol. We blew up about half a dozen seperate ones and the year after tye seeds actually sprouted and filled the end of our backstop with vines.
Geniuses! You are all geniuses! I am on the same page as you all and ponder and think deeply and comprehensively with critical thinking about blowing stuff up too! All red-blooded American males do, my brothers!
What's really kind of intresting and not sure how many noticed this or why it happens. When you watch the slow-mo all the leaves on the ground around the pumpkin actually get sucked in towards the explosion, before everything goes outwards. 7:29-7:31
Adding a plate helps but not as much as you would think. Plus it adds to the danger factor, being that there is now a large metal plate that could potentially go flying off. The wild hogs will have that cleaned up in a hurry.
pretty sure the wildlife had the best couple of days and nights after that shoot, stuff was probably like an all you can eat buffet to deer and hogs lmao
2 ingredients. Mix all of both. You have half a sack of one ingredient left over and thought it would be ok. I would've edited out the entire section that makes me look like a moron.
Should have ball milled that for several hours. If your ingredients are good (questionable) the fine texture and intimate mixing would have put pumpkins in orbit
I new you guy were making a mistake with not mixing all the powder into the white granules. I have used tannarite before so I know how it works. Good job though
It wasnt the mix. You were hitting the pumpkin prior to the bucket. This deforms the bullet and robs it of enough energy to keep from setting off the mix. Have seen this happen shooting through a single wall of pumpkin to set off tannerite inside.
@CountryBoyChronicle I had the same issue with a 2 pounder inside a pumpkin. It seemed to be a moisture issue. bec I used the same target out of the pumpkin placed in front of it. Next round impacted on a dry spot and it went off just fine. Pass through the pumpkinnl was pulling the moisture from the pumpkin with it. Round was a .308

Appreciate the love! We had a “BLAST” making it 🤣
I agree 1000%
Talk about punkin planting 😂at it's VERY BEST ❤
What channels are those?
The video you didn’t know you needed to watch until you did
Fast forward 2 years, somebody 3 county's away is asking "who's planting pumpkins in my yard?"
😂😂😂😂
His place covered in punkin vines…
As someone who has mixed 50lbs of this stuff, it was a huge pain to get it all mixed.
Made a huge pop, though, so it's totally worth it.
Congratulations on your new pumpkin pasture!
Yea the video would have been 2x as long if I included the whole mixing process!
The birds and deer thank you!! lol
They have been feasting!
When they spread the seeds out you all are going have feral pumpkins popping up everywhere in a 5-mile radius for the next several years. 🤣
Prolly nothings gonna eat those yukky pumpkins!🤮
That was neat. I love how you stated the problems you faced and solutions you had 🍻
This is the cool way to plant pumpkins 😂😂
Why didn't you mix the whole bag to start with? Seems like it comes with the correct ratio intentionally.
I miss read the directions and thought I needed less than we did…. But ur totally right, I should have just dumped it all
Cool! Loads of fun watching it! Lol!

Nice video 🔥💪 well done guys!
Thank you 🙌
I was thinking the mix also. Great video guys!

Thanks for watching!
I smell the next upcoming ballistics channel....cant wait!
Idk about that lol 😂 this was fun tho!
No matter the size of the container, I always pack it as tight as I can with paper towels, awesome pop !
We learned a lot this first go around, next time will be better!
Should have left some trailcams to see what comes to eat pumpkins.
I would have loved that! But I lost all mine in the woods and can’t remember where I put them 🤣
@CountryBoyChronicle lol
Nice video and good luck on your youtuber path!
Thanks bro! Gonna be working hard in 2025 !

Thanks a lot! I Learned a lot making this video!
New sub. Ta the video.
That field will be one helluva pumpkin patch next year. Already seeded, fertilised and all.
All the best from Namibia.
Thanks for the sub! This is going to be a good pumpkin patch for sure
What happens if you put a long fuse to it instead of shooting it?
It wouldn’t set it off
With things like this it’s like certain baking recipes and making an emulsion sauce; if you don’t follow the recipe exactly, it isn’t going to work! It’s all chemistry. 😂 Nice video and awesome explosion. Well done!
Very Awesome …
How much was the Target Kit
$144
The deer and hogs are going to love that!
Deer yes, no hogs where I live !
@ That’s good! The crops are better off then
Nice drone work !!! Would be really neat to put up some game cameras on the exploded pumpkin’ to see what comes in. God Bless Gentlemen !!!
I’ll have to do that!
Hell yea bro, learned you have to mix all of both when I was in Colorado doing something similar😂
I love the smell of pumpkins in the morning...
excellent creative thinking boys..
Appreciate it!
This video is what makes youtube great
Now that's how you spread pumpkin seeds . When the ground temperature gets right and enough water gets to the seeds there will be pumpkin vines everywhere.

That is a great idea, might have to try that next time!
the local deer are gonna love you
Future food plot for sure
That was awesome brother, I am SUBSCRIBED. Hope to see more videos like this!
I’ll try my best 👍🏼
What was he mixing?
Absolutely love the orange mist! 😂😂
Yea I didn’t expect that lol. It was a nice touch 😂
This is definitely worth a subscribe.. thanks for the entertainment
@@zztuber thanks !
Once all the critters spread the seeds out feral pumpins will be popping up everywhere for miles around for the next several years. 😋
I’m really excited to see what happens next year in the same spot. I would love a pumpkin patch
@@CountryBoyChronicleyou prolly got one!

@@GearsAndGuns thanks homie! Keep up the good work yourself 👍🏼👍🏼
@CountryBoyChronicle heck yeah brother!!!! Us country boys will survive 🫡
That transition at 7:41 was super clean
I liked that one and lifting the pumpkin best. I didn’t really try to do many in this video… next time I’m focusing more on it

That was awesome! ❤ But think ya could used some more tannerite 😂😂😂
There’s always next time lol
As soon as I seen 50lb of tannerite and 800 pumpkins, I boarded up all my windows facing his direction
lol good idea
Absolutely epic!
Yes sir!

You know, you COULD have called this one Pie in the Sky. It's not too late...😁😁😁😁
🤔 …. I just might have to!
I hope you're ready for your hay field to turn into a pumpkin patch lol.
thanks for the entertainment

lol maybe a pumpkin spice latte?!

I’ve got 2” thick steel plate, that blast isn’t shredding that.
no, it won't shoes it, but it could send it flying. I would get way back for that. 😊
Shoes it? I hate that dang spell corrector. 😮
👏AWESOME👏. Heck of a mess 😂
Cool video! Can I ask why you have 4 brand new weed eaters in the box and can I have one haha
That for an upcoming video ;)

No hogs in our area… but the deer have been snooping through it 👍🏼 we took a trailer load out to my brothers cows as well. They love them lol
You’ve got a new future pumpkin patch. 🤣Now get thise undamaged pumpkins and start making pies! Or at least pie filling to freeze for later.

Thanks for your input Wyatt! God Bless 🤝🏽
That's the difference right there! He's man enough to show mistakes. LOL
I know a field that's going to have pumpkin growing with all them seeds scattered
Havent even watched all the way threw but i want a video next year of next years pumpkin crop!
Will do!
It looks like a Tango advert from back in the day.
Kinda does lol
.300 Win. Mag. was the best choice 👌

the leaves being pulled IN is crazy
I noticed that too. I wish the camera wouldn’t have been pushed over
Very cool ,local wild life will be pleased once their ears stop ringing .. lol
And next year... you will have so many pumpkins growing out there you won't know what to do, lol.
How come y'all didn't say "Yeee Haw," after that explosion?
lol I was honestly in shock from the explosion 🤣
That’s one way to feed your deer before deer season
Illegal to bait where I live unfortunately. So no hunting in this area
Almsot got the drone lol
I was shocked it didn’t get hit when I rewatched the video
Awesome thank you
Slow start “ however “ what a BLAST it turned out to be.

I think I speak for the rest of us, we'll wait for the part two video when you have the plate and everything else set back up
and thats how you efficiently plant a pumpkin patch for next year
