Headcanon: Marnie was sick and tired of Lewis not being open about their relationship, so she studied the arcane arts and used magic to have him lose the next mayor election, resulting in Linus becoming mayor and leaving Lewis homeless.
Then since lewis was homeless she broke up with him.
I don't think the randomizer mod is "too silly" to be uploaded to the main channel, but i'm glad there's more Seanie content nonetheless 🎉🙌

Lewis and Linus switch, and the bears as crows, is actually genius and could be their own mods.
Especially Lewis with some of the dialog changed and maybe some new lines added could be really cool.
This would be such a fun series to watch I love the chaos the randomizer brings

You should try the Archipelago Randomizer too! It's a different randomizer that works on a totally different principle of randomization, so both mods are very different and don't really step on each other's feet!

@@Great_Olaf5 Not at all, as Archipelago is progression-based and garanteed winnable, while this one is chaos-based and is "you get what you get and you don't get upset". Entirely separate principles, each fun in their own way

I gotta say, I have a hard time to be able to watch a whole episode all the way through on YT nowadays with my ADHD. I sometimes skip through some slower parts that disinterest me, or juggle watching and playing/reading/drawing something. But, I watched this all the way through.. twice! Just watching it! And now, about to watch it a third while I eat lunch. Its really funny and you're right, it makes Stardew really interesting again in a new way!
I can imagine that if you'e played Stardew so many times, that you can dream the bundles and skip scenes, that the unpredictability of this mod makes it refreshing.

7:28 I’m assuming seb’s animation here is bc every npc has a special animation and they’re just told to do it at certain points in their schedule. Like when Gusalex was sitting under the tree stirring his sauce instead of tossing a football like alex does. This can also explain the glitch of Pole People if they don’t have the animation

If you’re looking for other mods, try the Archipelago randomiser! There’s a channel I like called Captain Canadia who has done a lot of videos with it as it’s pretty complex, there’s a tonne of options to play with including shuffling the map and punishments for the player
The living in the museum got me every time hahah
Please make more of this, I immediately clicked on the channel after seeing this video and was pretty shocked to see only two videos after 4 weeks. This is such a cool concept, and I'd love to see more!

I have a randomizer mod save I started recently and in that save furnaces cost two fire quartz (and two earth crystals), meaning that I have to reach the gold levels of the mines with basic tools before I can upgrade any of my tools. On the bright side sprinklers cost 1 coal, 1 earth crystal, and 1 void essence (slimes drop void essence), so I don't need to get that far to automate watering my insanely profitable Oleadragons (flowers; also edible for more than salmonberries; the only downside is that they fill up my inventory with a ton of different colors)
Wait, so imagine this scenario...
You are standing in the middle of a field on the mountain. The birds are buzzing, bees are chirping, and there is a fresh squile flapping about in the river next to you. You make an impulsive decision to hoe in the spot directly in front of you. Buried in the dirt, you pick up an old picture and hold it up to the sky. It looks all crinkly, but you can make out a picture of a moon, a bush, and a clock... wait, that sounds familiar! It is none other than secret note 21! You put that in an empty pocket of your bag, hand-sewn by Shane himself, the fashion lover. Being a stardew valley expert, you quickly decipher the cryptic code & write it down to remember later.
*12 hours later*
It is 12:40 am. Past midnight. Past your usual bedtime outside of skull caverns. But you, [farmer's name], are determined to sus out all of the secrets of pelican town, and this is just a start. You slowly begin to approach the shaking bush and are greeted with displeasing sounds... but the voices seem familiar, almost *too* familiar for you to pass up. You reach out a cold hand into the dark, dusty bush, and you are met with two figures, standing, staring... wait, that can't be! No, there's no way!
"LINUS AND SANDY?!?!?!?!"
You stand there in shock, as your scream echoes throughout the valley...

What's the connection to Shane? Supposedly he was a friend of her parents before they died, that's why he's her godfather.

Real talk, I classify Linus as a naturalist survivalist over being unhoused as he expressed that being housed isn't a concern for him and that if given the choice of having what many would consider a home or continue living the life he does, he would opt for his tent in the woods.
But for the lore of the mod, Lewis cursed Jas with eternal youth while trying to make Marnie forever young. Linus changed his mind on his life style to overthrow Lewis and take up his past career as a politician to stabilize the town. The Pierre and Caroline moved away, having divorced, so the wizard retired to the store with his new lover, Merlin, while Marnie studies magic to reverse the curse on Jas.
... oh and George learned to pop sick wheelies on his wheelchair so the adventurers guild assigned him as their new leader.

9:06 Fun Fact. The reason George is in a wheel chair is because canonically, he was a coal miner but there was an incident with dynamite and he got himself crippled.
Demetrius was Jas with the newspaper. He was glitching out because he was trying to do her jump rope animation and the only cycling animation he has is the newspaper so it referenced that, and looked HILARIOUS (and cursed) lol
