    Very nice SUV probably one of the most reliable vehicles made in a long time! I wound up with the Tacoma off-road 4X4... For me there very close i just decided to with a truck rather than an SUV

    Love my 2017 every day. People who think these are slow didn’t take advantage of putting this beast in Smode when you can literally shift the thing off the line and while you’re simply driving at any given time. Also it gives a better throttle response as well. Need to pass someone quickly? Just downshift. This thing is plenty of quick if you know the capability of it.
    Of course the traditional 5speed auto was never meant to be fast. That was literally the same for every 90s and 2000s vehicles that had these transmissions but it’s a different story when you can rev the gears on your own and control the gears. The best is not needing a clutch to shift this. it’s as close as you can get to controlling your gears in a newer vehicle today.

    I'm probably going to see about buying a '24 TRD Pro before the revamp. Figure I can get a heavy discount whenever they switch out for the '25 and I can grab the the '24 for a steal

      I hope you are joking about “getting a deal”. These will only become more valuable. You should buy it if you want it and can afford it and know you have a vehicle that will probably appreciate in value.

      A 2024 will be worth more than a 2025 by 2030. Get a 4.0 V6 old school 4runner while you still can.
      We have a 98 sr5 5 speed and a 2024 trd orp in octane. Great vehicles.

    I had One (TRD Off Road) 2019/2020 and i have to say this:
    I think the 4 Runner is a very if not the most capable off road vehicle I ever had the Jeep Wrangler cannot compare at all!! BUT!!!!
    This vehicle was the most uncomfortable to the point that had to stop and get out of the Runner to take a break sitting in it!!!
    Engine is very reliable I agree BUT it was so under powered it is not even funny!! On the hwy just to get up to the speed limit was challenging and if I hit any uphill section than it was struggling.
    I was very surprised!!! So for that reason I got rid of it.
    I would buy again a Runner IF they will come out with a stronger engine!!

    • @Michael-ur5qb
      @Michael-ur5qb 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      BS if you think the Wrangler can’t compete off road. Stop the 🧢. The reason why you measure the 4Runner against the Wrangler is because the Wrangler is the benchmark period. The only thing the 4Runner has on the Jeep is reliability. The engine and transmission are old as dirt. Its woefully inefficient, it’s uncomfortable behind on tech and is way more expensive after dealer mark ups. The only people buying what you’re selling are delusional fanboys.

    The Toyota 4Runner. Built for off-road but will never be used for that. The 5-speed, gas-guzzling, super slow SUV will last you decades! And it's reliable. So come on down to your nearest Toyota dealership where the assholes will rip you off and remind you, you're buying RELIABILITY son so fork over the money and take this bad boy home!

    Overrated with subpar horsepower and awful gas mileage. Frame rust is still an issue with this Gen 4Runner. Back up camera is terrible and it doesn’t have a power lift gate. Toyota doesn’t even include automatic headlights unless you upgrade to the TRD model. LOL….really Toyota?
