- He really took it to heart to create a concept that would deliver on many different levels! Not gonna lie, I don't love ll of these aspects but when it comes to the artistic execution and creativity, this hits the mark for sure. One thing that really helped me enjoy this was to add my own interpretation on the concept: the double personality of a crazy scientist like Dr. Jekyll & Hide, him being a scientist whose project turned against him also reminded me of Harley Quinn, him finally embracing the darkness of his other personality also got me thinking of Venom for ex. In short, I absolutely loved the execution and how the double personas were represented in the song with the verses being the calm before the storm aka the chorus. The nightmarish and hectic feeling of the song also plays really well into the concept and the fact that the verses and chorus, bridges etc feel so different from one another feel very Frankenstein/patchwork, which again, goes brilliantly with the concept. So my brain LOVES the concept! The song though? Even though I want to love it, I’m not quite vibing with it right now. I love parts of it, the “holier” parts sound incredible but I can’t seem to get into the chorus. That said, I have to applaud Ten for showing yet another facet of him. And I think that speak very strongly on his artistry because he is able to reinvent himself again and again without loosing who he is!

I guess ten is really bold to put nightwalker as the title of his debut album, because is weird in a sense that we don’t hear that often even with the theme he worked but is also leads you to the album and the album is a masterpiece. Ten don’t play safe because he is an artist and art sometimes make you uncomfortable and thinking like wtf was that should i like this what is the meaning behind this and it fit the purpose I guess.

I am a sucker for this type of mysterious, haunting vibe in songs, it was an instant hit for me right at the first listen, it made me tear up. I think I will go as far as saying it's my fave song of the year yet. And I agree with the comment that says it has Taemin vibes, I can definitely see him sing this song. I am very happy Ten can share his artistic views through this song, and through all the other songs on the album. It was an amazing journey listening to all of it for the first time, and it's been on loop ever since. 💚
I am okay if some pple don't like the song, to each their own taste. Nightwalker is an unexpeted side of Ten, we haven't witnessed yet. I listen to the song again and again to catch each small instrumental details. There is so much going on instrumental wise.

This isn't normally my type of music, but for some reason I actually like it. It reminds me a lot of a metalcore band Bad Omens which I love.

Theory: The only thing I thought of was Persona and the "dark hour" probably because the Persona 3 remaster is being remastered now. 3:02 It's true...he transforms after midnight and is always the target of remarks, insults and persecution, which made him create the controlling personification in his mind. He rocks a look without eyebrows, really beautiful monster. The song is so good too, the instrumental is a bit of a trip! He's an incredible dancer, we all know that, but the choreography highlights his skills and also the plot. Cashews really intrigued me. As a Brazilian, where cashews and chestnuts originate, I know that, before being transformed into chestnuts, they are poisonous and acidic and burn the skin and their oil was used by natives in rituals making tattoos with burns. Maybe that gives the meaning of him not having eyebrows and his dances being part of the Endijena tribe. I could be totally wrong. THANKS .

Tbh I kinda slowly pull myself from kpop music but when I hear he about to release album, I got to listen, and glad I am, its the first album in 2024 that I genuinely can say I'll put all song in playlist, cause its that good, and the fact that its all in english, chef kiss
I actually like this song the most out of all the songs on the album. Lie with you is nice too. Not sure about the rest of the album tho... But like you said, when an artist is experimenting, it cannot always fit your taste 😊
