The theory of it was developed on a train and that was the seat numbered the man who created it. It came to Xan Chiang (creater of the soup) in a dream while traveling. Once he reached his destination, he quickly went to the market for ingredients and made the first batch. The rest is history!

The recipe was first introduced by famous original hong kong, chinese restaurant. The menu number was 19-B for this soup. So everyone started calling it 19-B soup for reference and now it is known by this name.
