As someone who S-ranked every Normal level, I can confidently say Hardcore is really hard and simply beating all levels, any rank, is a great accomplishment. And trust me, if you want to do multiple episodes, then on SOME levels you would have to just keep entering challenge mode over and over again trying to get the song you want, just like in bonus levels episode ;) Oh wow you failed New Game I thought it was the easiest hardcore boss lol
Yep, the difficulty increase is huge, especially in certain levels. Aaand that's what I get for not grinding the beatpoints to unlock all the stages. :P
Close To Me's Changes In Hardcore Mode: At beginning, other circles fly around, not just down. Spikes are in the center of the giant gear. 2x more circles when saws go to corners. Thicker lines at beginning. Claws/Arms are bigger when cube lifts pink. When all of the walls are filled with pink and the cube is in saw mode, it starts to go rotate quicker. 2x more circles when all of the walls are filled with pink and the cube is in saw mode. That's all I noticed.
