    Thanks for letting us see you throwing the line. Nobody else does that. It might not be glamorous, but it's important.
    I have trees to climb, & I'm a nervous wreck if I don't have a life line set up before goingup. (newbie)

      Put a new chain on her after that last job -- the other one was sharpened down to just about nothing. Tore through some oak nicely :)

    Would be interested to see how you hook that rope on your foot when ascending. Seems like some kind of clip you hook in to?
    Thanks for sharing as always mate.

    what polesaw do you use?
    ive got a milwaukee cordless one (love it) and a fiskars 16ft polesaw/pole pruner, which I hate, takes 15 minutes to cut a 4" limb
    maybe I should suck it up and get one of the notch ones, if I recall they use silky blades

    • @metaspencer
      @metaspencer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I've got the Notch with some extra extensions -- I'll run up to 4 poles on it from time to time and it's cool because it can also fit the Big Shot. I just sold a cordless pole saw (garage sale) and am always on the lookout for a gas Husky or Stihl having a buddy with one that I like. the notch can be a workout but gets me out of a lot of jams

      @@metaspencer mine is the milwaukee quik-lok system, its a weadeater but you can switch to an edger, polesaw, hedge trimmer etc
