Hey guys! The more we listen to NMIXX- O.O we keep finding out more things. One cool thing we also realized is that this song is not just a teaser but we think it’s also a CYPHER! ☠️
(Cipher is a secret way of writing; a code. A zero; a figure 0. Remember the lyrics about 0 and 1 which is a binary code).
There is even a lyric in the song:
“영과 일의 미로가 보여?”
(do you see the mazes of 0’s and 1’s?)
And also:
“Zero plus zero equals infinity”
In our opinion…MAYBE this song can be read as O.O or zero.zero(0.0)
The binary code bits never end, it goes on forever which they could possibly be saying we’ll “never end” type of thing.
Also 0.0 is also a number used in an IP address.
It’s a default route. A route that leads to the “REST OF THE INTERNET” and not just a “local” network. Which means they’re gonna connect to everyone’s computers - basically saying everyone will be talking about us (which is what’s happening). 🤭😆
There is also a word called cypher in music (for hip hop). Cypher is a song that features numerous artists that creates something like a remix. This song “O.O” or “0.0” sounds like a remix. Maybe a remix of a few of their songs put together.
Speaking of “putting together” it also sounds like a medley. A medley of songs they smashed IN ONE SONG, to showcase their talents and what they bring to the table. A medley is also something artists use in concerts to START a concert as an INTRO. (THATS A HELL OF A INTRO AND TEASER!) Which is why it would make sense as to why they do not have a normal format of a song….(which is why they have no chorus, no pre-chorus, no bridge).
Our other fun theory is:
JYP wanted the whole world to know about them (0.0 IP address to the rest of the world). We think THIS WHOLE THING WAS PLANNED. It’s going the way they expected it to go, all the HATE love etc. They wanted people to be confused with the song and even possibly hate it, which is funny cause we both actually really loved it. It’s been on repeat but that’s besides the point lol.. Who knows maybe they did this ALL on purpose 🤔 Let’s see how it all plays out.

I really want to post about nmixx song when for 2 day people reaction too negative. Because I really like it more than aespa Next level. (Not that I hate it, just not my style) The reason due to the lyrics and delivery. I am someone who love 'straight forward but not straight forward' lyrics and delivery. Like my fav group and soloist are AKMU, Red Velvet, IU, BIBI, and many more. I paid a lot of attention to lyrics as that how I enjoy the song. And this song just exploding my brain. I really need to listen to it carefully every time. And every time I discovered new things and that make me enjoyed it more.
People need to acknowledge that this is a Debut song. A debut song is about how to showcase their talent, and this is it. And please go listen their other song tank. You will ' AD MARE' them. O.O

Just to help you understand Hoot(훗) part....it starts with coke and popcorn stuff which are really must-have in Korea for watching movie in the theater. This group is saying that all people will sit down and start to say this & that shits to them. Then those girls are just giggling(?) and laughing because nobody knows about them yet as what people are watching is just a teasure. Hoot(훗) is usually used in this kind of situation, a bit smiling and giggling. Long story short, they are confident about themselves no matter people say and feel chaos, whatever..Sorry I am not sure I successfully delivered the meaning well due to language skill limitation!:)
Whether you like the song itself or not, for a debut honestly this has the most clear, straightforward lyrics, song & MV visuals a new group can have to introduce their group, like, "hi, we are nmixx, just so you know what to expect ok.. --& if u like it hit follow n subscribe button, but yeah follow follow me u guys-- :)" & I can see why they chose it over Tank. It even has a beginning, the middle part & a conclusion to their song/MV.
Like in a movie theatre, they invited you in, told you to get your pop corn & zero coke ready, sit down, open your eyes wide & look at what they had to offer. First verse they said it's just a teaser & warn you to not be surprised yet despite what you hear. Halfway, when the melody gonna change they tell you to wear eyedrops. Then the genre changes, establishing that this is the real thing (despite how dreamy & too good to be true everything looks), asking you to follow their journey. Then the beats change again (wakes u up from the dream like world) & they reminds you to blink your eyes (because you are probably shocked/flabbergasted like "O.O" about what you just watch & listen too. They expect you to react like so, good or bad is another story.
And they conclude the song asking, "how was it?" - the thing you just watch/listen just now. They asked you to follow their journey again. It's really clear what they are trying to show & do. So now it's up to you to love it or leave them be.
Plus with all the O.O, ㅇㅇ stuff, I honestly feel like it's actually a really creative & well thought song/debut.
That being said, there are catchy parts in the songs which make it addictive the more u listen to it. Tho the only part I wish they left out/do better is that rap in the beginning, because it sounds pretty forced. But I understand that they want that wtf impact in the beginning. And i got addicted to it in the end anyway. So. 🤣

i think that when they sang the "NMIXX ~" part was because they're bout to mix the two version of the song which was the 1st part and the 2nd part of the song, that comes out as a combination like when they sang in the 2nd and the 3rd part. and when the lyrics said "the real starts now" cause like the real deal is starting now cause they'll mix both of the completely different version of the song. it's just a little theory of mine tho.

Yeah absolutely, and the chorus with the "Watch it baila baila baila, watch it how nice how nice", they are literally explaining what they are doing at the moment and inviting you to dance and enjoy with them. I think it is one of the most creative choruses, given the whole context of the song (of course). At first I was really confused, but as anything else that's a bit genius, it needs some time to sink in and for me to understand it better and enjoy to the fullest.
Indeed, if you're confused of the song then NMIXX got you. The lyrics talks about how it's gonna create buzz and chaos and people are gonna react like they're watching a movie.

O.O looks like a binocular for me, it is an optical instrument when you want to magnify distant objects, NMIXX wants us to behold and see how talented they are. I noticed something else as well. In the last scenes of the mv, it says "Pick N Mixx" on the sign board thingy. Now, If you say it out loud, it sounds like you're saying "Pick N mix" meaning Pick and mix, right? Well, the song is has different sounds and beats every new verse. It's mixed with sounds. I think it was a double for "and mix" and the groups name lol. This might just be a stretch, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

They basically knew they will get different reactions from the entire world (love/hate/like/confused/angry/annoying/etc..). And they intentionally did this to make everyone confused because of the EMOJI "0.0" .... Which is why they made this long song as a TEASER.. It was intentionally design to be a LONG TEASER :) Never for the past has ever been sa TEASER that long.. You guys did a great job on analyzing accurately. You guys are amazing!! So, the more I watch their 0.0 M/V I notice there were so many CRYPTIC/RIDDLE messages involve in this.. Meaning, like a "HINT" to their upcoming songs. I think they planned already all theirs songs in differents songs.. But they just needed to surprise everyone/ or the entire world watching.. They will bring more songs.. So the question is "how?"... This is their message "0.0".. I think, they (NMIXX group) already new and expect, a lot of viewers will have different reactions (love/confused/hate/like/etc..).. especially confused.. But, it was very creative!! Another question brought me.. "What are the songs coming up??".. Well we do know, the first scenes.. Would involve the Ship (Sinked).. Is this some kind of "titanic or pirate" genre song they will put into their MIXX?? (hmmm.. interesting..)
There was also the HINT from fishes in the scene in their fantasy scene.. I think this is the TANK song.. I like how you guys described the domino.. "There is nothing will stop them.." and they will continue to break through every walls(barriers).. This could also mean language barriers.. This could also refer for them having music genres "classic/rock/hiphop/culture/pop/etc.." as HINT.. But I dont know.. We will see..
There is also a scene where they say "you're snoozing tap tap, knock knock, get them buttons, tap tap push it down..." This is literally saying, when we get up or wake up.. we usually check our social accounts(fb/tweet/tiktok/etc..) on our phones/computer/laptops and we should follow them.. And always keep an EYE and always watch out their new songs.. So I get that CRYPTIC/RIDDLE message which is why "0.0"
So overall, I think they INTENTIONALLY DID THIS ON PURPOSE!! 0.0... THEY KNEW THEY WOULD GET THE EXPECTED REACTIONS TO EVERYONE... I totally got the message saying "TIS IS JUST A TEASER.." So when ever we are waiting or curious what their next songs going to be... They expect US to watch 0.0 again.. There are many things going on, in the 0.0 M/V. This is where we intentionally continue to look for more HINTS in 0.0
Last HINT, they say "ZERO + ZERO = infinite loop"... Yes, I think this is the infinite loop where we will continue to watch and love this song for HINTS :)

The 1st part of the song, they showcase thier rap skills then after that they break the walls for the 2ndd part and showcase thie powerful vocals for the 3rd part of song they showcase thier amazing and powerful dance skills!!! In short!they want to tell us that they are all rounder!!!

First time i watch the MV, i am processing a lot of things. But after re-watching it i'm starting to understand what they were trying to say. Then a few hours later i saw your clip on tiktok reacting to the song then i go straight to your channel and watch your reaction, now i fully understand what they were trying to say. Other reactors should see this cause they are branding the song as worst debut of a kpop group just because they cannot understand what the group was trying to deliver to the viewers.
