I'm just getting to all of these blind games and I am loving them! I do wish that you would always take a look and comment after she locks it in. I love when you see things and explain how you would have narrowed it down yourself. So fun.
I am new to Geogussr and your channel. I rarely comment on youtube but this video is so good that I am compelled to leave my appreciation. This is one of the best piece of content I have seen on TH-cam for a long while. I love your knowledge, and your interaction with Geography Challenged. It is very entertaining and educational at the same time. Please do more of these country streaks. As someone very new to Geogussr, I find that this format really help improve my techniques. I would love to see more blind country streak, or country streak tutorials. Keep up the good work! I will recommend you to my friend. I am sure you will get more and more subscribers with this much good content.
With the American apparently driving on the left round that was the US Virgin Islands there were many cars visible where the steering wheel was on the left. The only reason I mention it is that this is my preferred method of determining which side of the road the country uses as it is so easy to be fooled by looking where the cars are.
What a nice surprise last evening. I'm always looking forward to these videos. I'm thinking the slovakia round was a mix of miscommunications and lack of memory on the cobblestone side. The norway round was so hard, even if you can see it. I really liked the US virgin islands guess. I also really like how geography challenged is always trying to pronounce foreign words or city names accurately instead of just saying it as if it was english. Well done again you two.
I also did not see that Guatemala on the car, but I did see Maya on the Yellow Truck which narrowed it to a very likely Southern Mexico or Guatemala based on coverage. Mayan languages to this day are many peoples first in that region.
The Oslo one is 15 min walking distance from where I live. I thought it might be Norway at first, but then convinced myself it had to be further south, such as France, Iberia or the British Isles. That's frustrating, 'cause I've probably walked down that street myself.
I enjoyed the video, you did really well and thanks for making it. I can learn a lot from this format, when you give miss GC clues (being ignorant of what's most correct of mrs or miss here, soz). The new meta if you don't remember a country flag is to select a country, cause that'll show you it's flag. Having lived in Oslo for 10 years I thought of Oslo on the last round, but I wasn't sure. Some features are continental, which blurs the perception, although they are not uncommon on the posh side of Oslo. The birches and spruces suggests Northern Europe. I'm quite sure the little red sign on the electricity pole would be in Norway only.
This format is great entertainment and it's sure impressive, but...this streak was ridiculously easy, I wish I'd get that lucky. Well, then you did get Norway...not even that no-parking sign would help, it would just further throw you off, I believe.
I am Norwegian, and saw immediately it was Norway. It is from the "posh" side of Oslo, built mostly in the late 1800's so perhaps it doesn't look "typically" like foreigners would expect Norway to look.
40:10 I am dumbfounded. Not even for a 100 pounds would i have guessed that was Norway. The only thing i reacted on was the no parking sign. (Which she referred to as a stop sign) For a long while i was looking really hard into the vehicles trying to convince myself the steering wheel was on the right hand side of the car.
10:48 Dominican Republic has also bars on the Google car but no front number plates. Bars on the Google car and front number plates in Latin America can only be Guatemala
Dominican Republic has a black line in the bars. Usually, the bars for any other car have a groove, which can easily be confused with a black line, in certain lighting.
29:52 Please... Pleeeease... Just look at the car that is behind the google car. It's that same car you are seeing and they take a bit of road behind the google car to cover the google car with. Unfortunately, their aim is off and they got that whole toyota car driving behind them instead of the road.
Loving this concept, and the banter between you two. Curious about how well Challenged speaks Dutch now. If she's good enough, what if she can only describe things in Dutch, and you have to try and understand?
Based on how well GC responds when I ask him to do very basic household chores in dutch, I’d say his understanding isn’t good enough for this to be possible sadly ☹️
@@GeographyChallenges Yes I love watching it, been following it for a few months now. Yes I could read everything, and there were shitload of things written on posters most times. @@Brax1982 Weird list of locations on the map used I guess. Some come up time and time again but the weighting seems to be heavily skewed towards urban areas and not other locations like the pyramids which makes it even stranger.
@@Jimboh8 Well, Egypt doesn't have Street View. Whenever you have a decision between India or Pakistan, the latter seems to be the safer choice. There is only minimal amount of Street View between those, as well. Whenever you are in an urban location in Slovakia, it seems to always be Bratislava. Same with Uruguay and Montevideo. Wonder what map is used for this. It's certainly a curated one, it has to be?
Really entertaining series guys

I'm the mentioned first subscriber of Geography Challenged :-)
Really enjoy all the videos you do together. Nice to see the big progresses you make.
I will never ever believe that in my life.

When you’re so in sync you start doing the intro at the same time:
This series is great!
The first video I watched of this series I thought you were actually blind I was blown away
4:40 I'f you don't see any balconies in the houses it's unlikely to be Greece.
Almost all houses have atleast one balcony
Nice tip

3:50 Don't forget to mention the taxi sign on that Merc.
Small, wedge shaped, yellow border, yellow text and the rest of it is black.
The car says Guatemala on it. Clicks British Virgin Island when the guy says US Virgin Island.

I am writting a comment to tell you how much I like this series. Can I get a reply?
What can I say except how excited I am to hear from someone who, based on how much GC goes on about you, must be incredibly legendary
You'll have to wait for his next upload to get a reply. ;)
You can have your reply now Radu

Definitely check which hand drive the car is when not sure on driving side, Norway was an easy on knowing it was EU, but still
Anazingly entertaining video! No bad feeling to geography challenges but i was screaming at my phone when she clicked British Virgin Islands oops!

I've got the foot of the pyramids 4 bloody times already on this gamemode, a bit silly really.
Yeah, what's up with that? I got it twice in about 100 attempts. One of those was today, too.

Have seen all your videos. Pls make a 20sec, no moving on a diverse world. 😃
I’ve probably done it already!
