I have a 2000 Sea Ray 190 CC and watching you work on your boat was like looking in a mirror because I am exactly like you in wanting to do whatever has to be done on my boat to get it spot on. Keep up the great work...
@@MentalHealthDay82 I know what you mean I’m exhausted working on mine for several weeks and now I’m ready to launch her I have similar issues soft spot on floor, but I’m going to test it and hopefully it goes well
Oh damn! With the off the ranch music from demo ranch! Made me think i was watching one of his videos for a second lol. Great content as always! You’re the man
Hell of a Job! Saved a ton doing your own work! Your Family going love your hard work on the water! Did career in navy on frigates fixing everything the ocean ate! Have had boats on boat coast! My favorite boat now is my buddies and my 2 ben franklins I pitch in when we go offshore few times a year! I have 86 Trophy in back of property, bunch of young buck marines suppose to take it and rehab like you! Great job on video!
Good vid like that you used affordable products, and you pointed out how to take care off all that work don't use harsh detergents that strip Away that finish. A BOAT IS A LOT OF WORK But worth it thx for your honesty
Great project Kurt. Fun to watch someone going patiently to restore something. Many others would have thrown the boat in a junk yard and gone in depth with a new one. Glad the project is going well. As always love both your channels
Awesome Kurt!! Great job on all of the repairs so far! Great idea as well testing the bilge pump and lines before you put it in the water. Many people would not have thought of that after checking to see if the pump runs. I look forward to the next installment! Thanks for sharing, and God Bless!
Hoping the floor tear out doesn't have any crazy surprises and you can get it out and replaced without any problems. Lots of memories yet to be made. Take care.
LOL! Speaking of bellows, my first Bayliner('85 model)had the old OMC outdrive where the bellows sealed the outdrive to the transom. Unfortunately the rubber was vulnerable to muskrat which gnaws on it like a kid working on an chocolate Easter bunny. One afternoon I walked to my pier and found my boat had capsized after filling with water. My next boat did not have that outdrive.
I just today subscribed to your channel. I have a 1999 Bayliner, 2052 cuddly cabin. When you applied the Meguiars to the helm did the cracks close up??
I tried to get the gas tank out of mine because I am trying to get rid of rot, but guess what? The tank is full of gas? There was literarily gas dripping out of my drain hole when I lifted the tank and it tilted a little and gas came splash...I think its old gas too, now got to figure out what to do with all that gas.

B.O.A.T. Break Out Another Thousand, lol. The bane of all boat owners
So true
Yeah but you can make a lot of money with a boat too so it's worth it.
