I'd also tell my 20-year-old self that the world rewards execution, not intention. Nobody cares about your potential; they care about results. So stop talking, partying, and wasting time because you need to set the foundation for the habits that will carry you into your 30s, 40s, and 50s. Motivation fades, but discipline lasts a lifetime. Many people stop working hard when results don't happen fast enough or instantaneously. They also get bored or lost and start looking for something else. So, a motivated and disciplined individual will stick with a plan and a routine, and this will win every time.
Your body will betray you if you don't take care of it. Time moves faster than you think, and you will blink and be 30 or 40 years old. Realize your reputation is more valuable than money, so don't do stupid things. Your credit score also matters, so you need to protect it. You also need to learn about and understand money. Don't be a fool.I would also tell the 20-year-old me that nobody is responsible for your happiness. You need to take control if you want to be happy. Therapy works, and I'm a huge advocate of it. It gives you tools to scale your life. Therapy was a pivotal point in my life, and everything improved. You deserve to be happy -- visit Better Help for 10% off your first month and get matched with a therapist who will listen and help you.
I would also tell my young self that comfort is the enemy of greatness. The easy road leads to mediocrity. You must be uncomfortable and willing to push yourself out of your comfort zone. When you do, magic happens. You will realize your potential not because you did what was expected or easy. Failure is inevitable, so get that off the table. Failure is part of the process; if you're not failing, that's a problem. Failure is one of the most incredible learning experiences you can have. Just make sure you pick yourself up and continue to move forward. Don't stay stagnant or in self-pity. You also cannot blame others for your mistakes. Nobody will save you, so if you want anything worthwhile in this world, you have to work for it. Don't try to fix problems in your life by self-medicating, either. Don't make bad decisions under the influence because you cannot go back. Make sure you take care of yourself.
Be a good person and focus on your character. Don't give pretty people a pass. Looks fade, but a person's character and integrity don't. Personal packaging and presentation are important, but nobody respects a weak man. Be strong physically, mentally, and emotionally. You can be sensitive and vulnerable without being weak. Remember that you only have three seconds to make an amazing first impression, so don't waste it. You're never going to get it back. Being young doesn't give you an excuse for being lazy or sloppy.
Take a second so you don't make emotional decisions that ultimately are bad. Take a logical approach to making hard decisions and allow the data to speak for itself. Realize that the internet is full of noise that you need to filter. Most of what you see online is garbage coming from people who are not the ones getting mentorship. Just because somebody has a lot of money or looks like they have a lot of money or has a hot girlfriend doesn't mean they know what's right for you. Realize that she does not expect you to be perfect-nobody does. You need to work on being the best version of yourself. When you fall, get yourself back up. Where you want to be right now, you'll get there if you keep working.

All my friends from grade school are all either strung out, or dead beat people. Sure glad I got out when I did. I finally figured out that environment is 90% the issue. Change your environment, change your life!
100% Facts
I agree with you 100%. Leave the environment I was in and damn my life completely changed.
"Blink and you're 30, blink and you're 40" SO TRUE.
Thank you for this video Aaron.
You helped me start my fashion and fitness journey to some extent, 10 years ago.
I watch your videos on and off again since I've turned 21-22 but I always find nuggets of wisdom everytime I look at the channel again.
I'm going to be 27 this year and this message just found me in a the best moment I believe.
So thank you again.
I personally feel this is the best video you've put out in the few years I've been watching. Every point spot on.
Thanks, I was going to say that too!
Thank You Alpha M! I'm on my mid 20's struggling to find strength and drive to be my best but these kind of videos somehow help me to get going despite all the falls and big mistakes. It's hard to get beaten by life all time but I still believed that one day I will finally meet my life waiting for me and it's definitely worth it. 😁💪🏼
I'm in a bad situation right now and it really sucks. Nobody is going to safe me. Thanks for the reminder!
TRUTH!!!! I am the same age as you and these are the exact things I want my kids to understand and know. Well said sir!
Thank you for the great advice! I don’t think that i have ever heard such great advice, and I only wish that I heard it when i was a young man. I have found that almost everything that you say has turned out to be true. Great job!
Dear Alpha!
I've been watching your videos since high school, and I wanna say thank you for it all. You are a huge inspiration. I recently come of age and I'm on my journey to become fit and become a real man. And it was always good to have a presence like you, even if it's on TH-cam.
Thank you!
Balázs
I spent my 20s having fun and partying. Do i regret it? No. Why? Because my understandng was at that time life is for LIVING.
You're absolutely right, and if 1/10 20 year olds listened to that and acted on it, they'd be the greatest generation ever.
One of the best vids of you. Thanks a lot!
Great advice, I’m 28 and have regrets and feels like I was 23 yesterday, scary and feels like I’ve already missed my chance
Thank you for an another amazing vid! Keep inspiring people!
You 'da man Alpha! Much love and respect! 💛
Life's a lesson, We can't change what's been written but we write the new pages with experience

Simply put I would not be married without Alpha M. Or have gotten any relationships in high school. I’ve been watching for 10 years now.
Number 09 hit me in the gut like a truck. I had been debating getting up early to get extra time to work on my dream job (writing) and holy shit man you are right imma put in the extra effort
I'm grateful I still got my friends from elementary we chill every weekend
WOW! Man that's awesome! And you SHOULD feel grateful. Bc bro, THAT'S so rare. I'm guessing you're in a small town? And you and your homies are still there? Bc THAT is what's REALLY rare
@@PoeTréAloisio yea I work wit him at my job and my co workers tell me the same thing they can't believe it cuz they don't have that
Nice man appreciate that bro
Nailed it!
Perfect time 🤌
53 yr old here. Everything he said was on point. Only thing I can add is;
1) start a retirement account at 20. And keep adding to it.
2) keep away from alcohol and tobacco. If you knew how much money you'll waste you'd never go near it. And ive had a DUI and a gum transplant. So i know what im talking about.
3) go to court session and see how punitive and expensive it can get.
4) know a lawyer
5) dont fall for the first girl that touches your pee pee. Divorces are the 2nd biggest expense after their house which they probably aren't even living in anymore....but their ex wives are
Greetings from Croatia Alpha!!
Great video as always gentlemen, that cardigan was nice where it is from?
Yep 👍🏾 !
nice and informative video. I am 27 year . when i see this video, i like it, all the points are correct.😇
You hired an editor/designer? I see difference ✨
I’ve stopped the drinking the smoking. The alcohol I stopped at August 2024 and I just looked in the mirror saying to my self dude your a mistake. I get a notification on my google photos saw myself at age 18 and I was thinking wtf I looked like a smart man. 2024 being 21 I needed to change things up. My life needs to change quit the smoking because my breath smells quit the alcohol because I couldn’t fit into my shirts large shirts. So I quit both of those and from day one working out looking better feeling better. And the biggest thing I needed to change the most is to not fear anyone around me. I’m shy okay and getting confident back in my life can be difficult. New year new me I’m hoping so for the long run. Now I’m wearing shirts my size and Waistcoats and also my black suede Thursday boots thanks to the man alpha m. 👍🏻👍🏻
Same man, not asking out the girls and not taking the risks
Needing Friends from school was a Baby Boomer beilef in America
One of the few things I miss from being a teenager. I miss how naive I was. I was naive and trusting I was naive about naive about women/girls, money and success. I thought it would just happen. I thought I would be a millionaire before I was twenty and have a trophy wife with property all over the world lol. If I could speak to my younger self I wouldn't tell him to work hard, be nice, put others before yourself etc. I would tell him what I know about life and all the above. This way the younger me wouldn't have wasted time and energy on things that didn't matter or serve me. The best lessons are the ones you learn yourself (when you realise something). Have a good day reader.
Time flies ⏰
You are so true
I only hang around with one friend and I don't want anymore.
Always be nice to new people at your job because it takes just 1 year for them to become a manager which is scary.
Companies don't care how hard you work they just want good results from you to make their life's a lot easy so when you die at 50 you are definitely forgotten. Just be selfish but don't show it.
Good video idea:
how to protect your reputation!!!!
I have so many haters, and ghetto beaches talking bad about me.
That's a vid I don't think you've ever done!!!!!
Good advice. Now listen to someone on the edge of 60. Get your psa checked. I had a nice surprise after I retired at 58.
I agree with you, but how can you recognise if something is right for you? For example I am doing my PhD and for the one and half year I am not happy, I feel it, I don't know what to do. I am thinking of quitting it, but yet I don't know if it's the right choice. From the one hand I am not happy, but from the other I don't know, I spent two and a half year to this. I am still 25, but yeah I don't know what to do.
To true.
I don’t really like the idea that nobody cares about “you” at least in the way that it’s implied. All it does is make us become narcissistic and harbor resentment towards others.
Great video. However, if you had told yourself those things when you were in your 20s, would you have listened? I might have politely listened, but I'm afraid I wouldn't have taken the advice seriously, or realized the urgency.
10/10
🔥🔥🔥
yeap addiction is the worst think in life
✝️💯AWESOME VIDEO Aaron! Definitely “One Of Your Best! You Give GREAT Advice and you certainly had an amazing impact on me. I do care about your Salvation In JESUS because I love you Brother. I don’t want You to Face GOD on Judgement Day because like you said…
We are all going to face death and THERE IS A HELL! Don’t take that chance Aaron and please accept JESUS because HE Loves You and HE died for you! Think about that Brother and YOUR AWESOME Brother Aaron❤️🌅💯✝️
That’s what’s up🫡
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It seems like he is and always was a male diva.
Every once in a while i come back to check if Alpha m is still making garbage worthless content talking out of his ass just to promote something.
Good to know he is.
As I approach my 30’s
This is some solid advise! Been a viewer for a few years now (5+ yrs) thanks for the reassurance!
Alpha do u have children??? U r turning 50, u never showed ur children.
Wish i understand this in my 20's: "She will never be yours, it will only be your turn!"
Just be better. You can. Also don’t try to own someone or they’ll definitely leave.
thanks, buddy... very honest...
