And he sounds more like Mario so he does a better job voicing Chris Pratt than the actor himself. 😂

@@magolor-3100 Interesting because before Pierre Tessier became the French voice of Mario he said that he loves the Mario games but he doesn’t play at all. Now we got both of the most fitting and iconic French and Brazilian Portuguese voices of Mario that sound like him and I’m glad I met Pierre Tessier back in 2021.

2:06 🇮🇳 2:17 🇵🇱 Bowser looks so angry and evil, looks like he is saying that in a "nobody's gonna stop me" tone. Personally I prefer the Polish Bowser, he looks roque but still angry.
2:55 🇧🇷 3:17 🇩🇪 This penguin from Mario 64, I would say that it is difficult to find an ideal voice actor for him, but Brazil and Germany did it very well, congratulations to the voice actors.

It's funny to me how people criticized Chris Pratt's Mario (usually before watching the actual movie) and often praise other dubs when at least in a couple I've seen (i.e. Polish and Italian) nonverbal noises such as screams, grunts etc. were left untouched, with the original English voices!😂
Mario's Voice sounded so accurate in Spanish and Italian just unfortunate I'll be watching it in English.

When it comes to my language (polish) I really like how Bowser sounds diffrent then all of the other languages, it's really "raspy" (if that's the right word) compared to others. I like it.
Magikoopa sounds "nerdy", but I think it fits him. (Also side note, I love his norwegian voice, it's so unique!)
Penguin king sounds pretty good.
Toad sounds decent, don't love it, don't hate it.
Idk what to think about Mario, because the voices at 8:44 and 10:45 sound NOTHING alike, which makes me think that at 10:45 it's just suppost to be a "voice over", because if that's Mario's voice then it's HORRIBLE. But the voice at 8:44 sounded OK. In general I'd have ro hear him talk more to solidify my opinion on the voice.
As a fellow Polak I have to agree that Bowser sounds incredible and has that booming raspy voice. Penguin King also sounds great, and yeah I do think Kamek sounds goofy in the right way. Toad sounds fake but Mario - the first line is fairly fine, it has a slight accent which I do like, but the second voice sounds like actual shit, like one of those obnoxious voices you hear in a kid's commercial.

French Browser has a deeper voice and it’s badass
In Polish they had to say "the Koopa nation/people" instead of just Koopa because the pronuciation of koopa sounds exactly like kupa which means poop. So it would be pretty awkard for them to literally say the equivalent of "the king of the poops".

hi, Danish man here, with some notes:
Kamek uses the singular form of koopa (should have said "koopaerne"), but maybe Bowser is just king of one koopa or the metaphysical concept of "koopa"...
Bowser sounds like a drunk sailor in a 60's movie when shouting about opening the gate....
and the joke of a translator forgot the "you" in "do you surrender?"... "overgiver jer? litteraly
translates to "surrender you?"..
and in refusing to yield Bowser just sounds like a really sleazy creepy guy...
and finding the power star he uses the wrong form of "it" (should have been "den" in stead of "det")...
wow, the voices for Mario and Toad are actually good..... did not see that coming....

Brazilian here. Our Mario is SUPER FINE! Our Toad is THE BEST. Our Kamek is nice (sounding like Stitch which I'm not against). But our Bowser is lacking...

I plan to sometime in my life learn Portuguese (I currently talk Spanish, English and learning Italian) definitely gonna watch the movie in Portuguese if I get the chance!
My personal opinion on the voices:
- German Kamek is my favourite. He sounds old and poweful (as he should be potrayed, he's supposed to be Bowser's right hand man)
- all but one Penguin King voices are badass and I love it
- Bowser sounds good pretty much in every language (a little "eh" at the "Who's going to stop me!?" part but most of them were good)
- first time we hear Mario's voice, every language (but one) sounds really good and the "announcement" part is pretty much best in french
- let's be honest: french dub is so far the closest one to a perfect dub atleast on Mario's part
WARNING! "OWN LANGUAGE BEING A TRASH DUB" RANT AHEAD!
- And guess what: my languages dub (finnish) is TERRIBLE as has been the case for many dubs sadly for some time now. Finnish dubs used to be sometimes even better than the original, full of passion in every sense, but now it feels like either lazyness or just lack of creativity.
Dub writers, you do know that you can tweak the dub a bit so it fits better for your language?
Example: Bowser's line "I think not." is cool and slightly menacing but it stays "lighthearted" so to say (as in not too scary/menacing because kids film)
Finnish line: "En luovuta." translated means "I won't give up." but it doesn't sound as good as the translation, trust me. I would have tweaked it to "Enpä taida." "I don't think I will." It sounds a bit more menacing in my opinion.
And Kamek's "Katsokaa! Tässä Koopien kuningas!" ("Look! Here's the king of the Koopas!") I would have changed to something like "Vaviskaa! Koopien kuninkaan edessä!" which would translate to "Tremble! Before the king of the Koopas!" It would fit a lot better since Bowser is supposed to be a king that should somewhat be feared.
Aaand they use "talk language" (shortened words people use nowadays while speaking like sup, waddup etc.) instead of "book language" ("proper" language without the shortened words, makes it sound better in finnish and not so gringe like adults trying to be "hip" with the kids)... Mario says "Mikä tää paikka on?" "What is this place?" but it sounds more something like "What iz this place?" It's pretty hard to give an example for this one, different speaking language's so yeah. Would change "tää" to "tämä" so it sounded more proper. I think that's enough ranting, had to get it out of my system 😅🙈
As a pole I can relate with the dubs being bad. In the past polish dubs used to be very good (2 best known cases I think are penguins from madagascar and asterix and obelix mission cleopathra, where not only was the dub much better in polish, but it even had better voice acting). Also in the past there used to be more polish refrences I feel like. Now it's just usually mediocre or bad. I made a comment what I think aboit my lanuage's dub but I think it's pretty decent which is nice to see.

Ei kannata tuomita elokuvan dubbausta paskaksi pelkän trailerin perusteella, sillä trailerit dubataan elokuvista erikseen. Repliikit ja jopa ääninäyttelijävalinnat tulevat siis todennäköisesti olemaan erilaisia itse elokuvan dubbauksessa.

Useempi suomiduppi mitä olen katsonut nyt viimevuosien aikana on ollut niin pakkopullan oloista näyttelyä että olen ruvennut vallan katsomaan alkuperäisillä dupeilla (jotka ovat siis englanniksi tottakai) Ainoat missä on ollut mielestäni hyvät ääninäyttelijät nyt "lähiaikoina", on ollut "Näin koulutat lohikäärmeesi" -sarja, ne kaksi 3D-animoitua Asterix elokuvaa ("Jumaltenrannan nousu ja tuho" "Taikajuoman salaisuus") ja 3D-animoitu "Tintti ja yksisarvisen salaisuus" On niitä varmaan muitakin, mutta nuo ovat osuneet omalle kohdalle hyvinä duppeina

Fun trivia: Italian Kamek... is dubbed by the VA that usually dubs Jack Black.
French Bowser also dubs Jack Black now voicing Bowser in English.

8:53 Espen Sandvik was the Norwegian voice of Mario in the First trailer (Norwegian voice of Lightning McQueen in Cars movies) but in the 2, 3 trailer and in the movie Espen Sandvik was replaced with Christopher Robin Omdahl, also known as Retrospill on TH-cam.
These Finnish voices were only in the trailer. The guy who does Mario in this trailer, was the dub director for this movie. He also did a little role too as some random toad.

As an italian , i Hope the italian dub will dub the movie at Milan and not at Rome (in this trailer the trailer Is dubbed in Rome) because the italian dub of The Super Mario Bros Super Show/The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros 3/Super Mario World , Donkey Kong Country (not sure if they actually dubbed It in italian but the info said that It was dubbed at Studio P.V. Milano) WarioWare Gold and WarioWare Get It Togheter were dubbed at Milan so It would made more sense

They are all available on the specific countries UIP website.
The russian dub just sounds like they dubbed over the orginal voices and sounds, so it doesn't sound like the characters are actually speaking.
That's because there isn't a official russian dubbing yet

I love nearly everything in Polish Dub. I love how raspy Bowser is, how serious Penguin King sounds, I love sound of Toad, I love sound of Lugii. Nearly anyone, Expect..... Mario.
The problem is Mario sound too young and teenage like. Like Sonic(Which quite true because this VA was Sonic Voice for Sonic Movies).
But it was just Alpha version(I think) of the dub So I hope they gonna fix.
If they will not fix that, I dont think I will touch this movie in my language and I will watch in French or Czech(These two sounds great if the Polish will not be fixed) .
To be fair, I will not watch in English because I dont like Chirs Pratt in this version.
