never really thought about this watching fragrance reviews but I really liked that this was samples. Way more relatable than "hey everyone, i just dropped $8,000 on new perfumes and half of them are blind buys, no big deal". Plus, we probably get helpful insights about more options this way.
It's also so respectable that you're transparent if you already have enough or too many in a category and showing restraint by using what you have when it's working for you.
I'd love to see more like this or even the occasional decluttering process if you ever do something like that to make room for new scents that are more unique in your assortment or just to really use and appreciate your top favorites more.

I was avoiding Mancera for the longest time, and the first I tried was Amore Cafe, and I looove it, I am getting a bottle of it this month 😍 another one I loved on my skin was Melody of the sun, the rest are meh for now, but I definetly have to try them on my skin❤️ and yes, I love videos like this, also, I would really love an updated video on the clean musky scents that you love, because I know you hate musk in general, but there are some that are spectacular and not boring❤️

Like you, I had tried a lot of Mancera perfumes and none of them worked for me. That was until I tried Amore Caffe. I FELL IN LOVE!! Tried the sample and ordered a bottle not even thirty minutes later. So now I actually own a Mancera perfume that I'm head over heels for! 😂
I have bought Love Delight from Amouage and Initio Narcotic Delight and I am in love with bough of them.

Manakara - I get this slightly sweet (candied) litchi with a touch of rose. Then I get more of a candied berry
I bought the Laboratorio Olffativo discovery set 2 wks ago just to try Vanagloria (Im not willing to pay Babycat prices). It instantly went to the top of my full bottle wishlist. The over-ripe, leathery pineapple top, with the spicey, almost peppery vanilla mid to dry down was the kind of vanilla Id been missing out on. It was an amazing discovery to say the least. Keep up the good work Gabby!! ❤❤
I mixed Escapade Groumande with Coffee Addict and basically got Amore Cafe with a slightly more toasted smell ❤

I got so interested when you started talking about getting Guidance or Love Delight. I've been trying to make the same decision myself! I have a decant of Guidance and love the beautiful drydown but haven't pulled the trigger because I have to wait 30 minutes before that drydown kicks in. The first half hour smells a bit odd to/on me. 😆I tested Love Delight in store and liked it but is it worth $380? If it was half the price I would have bought it, but it's just too much money for that kind of scent. I ordered a sample so I could test it properly and think about it some more. Let me know what you decide! We have very similar tastes in fragrance.

I LOVE Amore Caffe. I'm so sad you don't enjoy Mancera. Try Instant Crush layered with Bianco Latte. It tones it down and I get people chasing me down every single time dyyyying over how delicious I smell.
I have a love and hate relationship with Guidance. I bought it when it first released while I was traveling in Spain - so I was stuck with it 😂. I did try it in store and liked it. Then I sprayed it at home and was confused. I continued to test it and found it smells different on me on any given day. The other day, I read a comment left on AI The Great’s channel. The person said to match Guidance with Love Delight - I was skeptical but tried it. Truth is Love Delight kind of tamed down Guidance and I really liked it!
I feel the same way about Love Delight- it’s beautiful but I do t really need another jasmine floral perfume
If you have not smelled Tihota, which you orobably haven’t because you would remember it, you must! You also need Nemat vanilla musk. Not the oil, the edt.
You mention that you have many jasmine fragrances. Please share which are your (Middle Eastern) favorite jasmine-heavy perfumes … maybe top 5
Have you tried Jasmine Wisp by La Yuqawam? It’s beautiful and also super beast mode.

The marshmallow one got better qith time- but its definitely a layering frag to boost that note in other feags! Was curious to hear your thoughts on Sunkussed Goddess... does it smell like sunscreen? Soleil Blanc like at all???? Or is it JUST greener white flowers? I usually share your feag preferences, BUT, I ❤ sunscreen vibes and was really hoping this would give that... i almost blind bought it as soon as it launched! Please share more thoughts!!!!
Sunkissed Goddess is a true summery beachy scent. Comparing it with Soleil Blanc, I would say SG is warmer and thicker. Bit of neroli in opening, following tropical flowers with coconut and vanilla. Def sunscreen vibe.
I just got Manakara!! I had to back order even in the U.S. Its like soft and faint on but it’s one that takes you on a journey and gets better and stronger on skin as the day goes on. I’m still getting to know it so I can’t say that it is a love yet. Candied lychee and slightly smoky rose is what I get.
Hows the projection and longevity? Have seen so many mixed reviews
@@imanee2208 The longevity is good! I can smell it all day until I wash it off. It changes throughout the day which I enjoy. I do have to put my nose up to my skin so the projection is questionable. Other people have complimented me the two times I’ve worn it though so I’m wondering if it’s one that others can still smell on you even though it may disappear on you like a Baccarat.

Interesting Guidance is not beast mode for me. I can hardly smell it. But I do get compliments
Amouage’s new packaging for the Secret Garden bottles is so disappointing! I literally just got Love Mimosa in the mail today, but I purchased it from one of the gray market stores so I could have the shiny silver hardware. All my others Blossom, Tuberose and Lilac are shiny. Since Love Delight is new and probably never made with the old packaging, I guess I’ll have to settle for… that. It’s going to mess up my Garden look.
FDB- Voyage/Paris is beautiful, but for cooler weather for me. I just put it on the storage shelf until fall.

I absolutely love blind buying too. But I tell myself blind buying a sample or a decant is also blind buying.
I just got about 20 samples/decants and it’s exciting! My problem starts when I love one and I want a bottle immediately. 😂 I am trying to hold out for sales later in the year.
Blind buying doesn't include samples..... that's the literal opposite of blind buying. You're sampling a fragrance before buying a full bottle. Blind buying is when you buy the full bottle without smelling it first....common sense isn't so common anymore, is it?! 🙄🤦😂

I hated Guidance at first, like despised it!!! I thought it smelled so sharp and sour, like rancid. But then I got a second sample and omg I am a convert! I bought the bottle shortly after that.
I tend to really enjoy the fragrances you love. I did not like guidance at all. However, you should wear love delight on your skin. It’s gorgeous. I bought it immediately after sampling it.
