      Just watched the full conference. Recall is run only locally and doesn't send anything to the cloud. So it's not worst then having you files on your computer. Also, Recall can be paused globally or disabled for specific apps, website, etc. You also can edit its memory and remove anything you don't want it remembering if you forgot to pause or disable. So there's no problem for privacy. The point of Copilot+PC is that there is a dedicated NPU to run the AI algorithms without having to send it to the cloud.

    This would help me learn new/existing application interfaces. Ex, as a dev I use Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, and a couple different database IDE's, but I don't know every feature that's offered or use them all. This could guide less experienced developers through the unfamiliar interface. Or better yet, game design has a HUGE learning curve because the game engines are very intimidating with all the features and buttons you're greeted with. You could get a "buddy" that creates a tutorial for you, watches as you navigate the tasks they set, and offers hints or suggestions along the way. Super helpful for learning applications with high learning curves very quickly.

Because if it can do that, it has the capability to fully use a computer independently. all it needs is the ability to control the mouse and keyboard and it should be able to use a computer, and learn any program.

    Russian text "Приветствуем вас в нашу летнюю стажировочную программу" sounds really bad and machine-like. And I don't think its grammatically correct. I guess it should be "нашей программе".
    DeepL translates this text as "Мы приглашаем вас принять участие в нашей летней программе стажировки" - this translation is really good.

    • @nilaier1430
      @nilaier1430 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would rather say that both are kinda wrong. The example from Copilot+ AI sounds clunky, but DeepL isn't correct either. The most accurate would be "Мы приветствуем вас в нашей летней программе стажировки." since we're talking in the present sense and there's "We" in the beginning, so this adheres closer to the original speech.

    Translation using written language to replace speech looks out of date already to me.
    Eg, Google pixel buds along with a pixel phone does the same thing but with real speech.

    When will we have an AI that actually reaches the abilities of the AI in the movie Her. Meaning, an assistant that will be with me 24/7. Keeps up with my schedule and tasks and makes sure I don't drop the ball on anything. When I travel my AI assistant finds me airline tickets, hotels, informs me of VISA requirements, currency issues, language challenges, etc. Keeps me aware of my prescriptions and how I can access them when I'm traveling etc. When will that type of AI be ready?

    I'm 6 seconds in and ALREADY the word "literally" has been incorrectly used twice. What will it take bruh for you to listen to constructive criticism about growing as a speaker?? That is literally a real question- literally.
    Here's a tip you NEED to take or you will disappear into oblivion I assure you- STOP USING ADVERBS EVERY OTHER FREAKIN WORD.
    Literally, basically, actually, truly, essentially, really, pretty, etc- get rid of 'em!! Conversational crutches (used SO regularly and superfluously) eventually becomes MADDENING for viewers/listeners.
    K? Got it? Good.

      I doubt they'll sell them separately, but they do say on their website that Microsoft Surface, Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung devices will have these chips as well, so, it might be compatible with the motherboards for these brands i guess.

I think that’s the coolest shit ever that I’ve always wanted a goddamn game helper there’s so many games that are too complicated like I don’t wanna google everything or read everything about this game right now I refuse to get involved, I don’t have enough time, but if this fucker can tell me what to do oh my God imagine if you can ask it to fix your factorio systems or Dyson space program that would be so nice

    What's the incentive to use these tools for anything creative? The moment you make something cool, the AI trains on it and spits out copies for other people before you can even release your work.
    Who owns the copyright to anything made with this - Not you!
    so great we can all automate our day jobs "to focus on what we do best". except if what you do best is now obsolete, of course..
