I actually really like the spoon charm. There's a thing in the disability community called "Spoons", which is a way to explain how much energy you have for any given day. You have a certain number of spoons each day, and each task throughout the day requires a spoon (or more than one spoon), and once you're out, you're out. No more spoons today.

There's also a saying for when you are out of spoons and you need to be a bit ruthless in defending yourself against 'borrowing' spoons from the next day (as those spoons tend to come with interest...) No spoons left. ONLY KNIVES.

When you brought out the mini canvas all i could think about was the fact i found them but they came with mini easels (the thing you put the canvas on) and i had exactly 6 so i painted the easels rainbow colours and then animal crossing characters on the canvas, then used double sided tape to keep them on the easels permanently and it did take a good while to complete but i definitely recommend the mini canvas, they are so small and cute and perfect for decorating. I adore the set i created

imagine starting the first activity having only the materials that Moriah listed first then realize that you don't have scissors and you keep the strips somewhere safe and go to target to get scissors. that you get on it again and realize that you don't have skewers so now you go to target again to get skewers and FINALLY you have 5 beads. still loved the activities!!!!!!!!!!!

This was so fun and childish!! It reminded me of when i was little and read(yes, internet was not a thing in my youth, so we had crafting books instead of videos) a ton of activities and crafting mini books that people gifted me!!

imagine starting the first activity having only the materials that Moriah listed first then realize that you don't have scissors and you keep the strips somewhere safe and go to target to get scissors. that you get on it again and realize that you don't have skewers so now you go to target again to get skewers and FINALLY you have 5 beads. still loved the activities!!!!!!!!!!!

We made beads from magazines when I was in 5th grade for our project. We used the beads to make curtains and it was a project for the whole class. It was fun to work with them and I miss those times🥲
