5090 is never worth it for me or any of the 90 series cards because i never plan on playing in 4K i will upgrade to 2k at some point but i'm still chilling at 1080p my eyesight is so bad that i barely see the difference between 720p and 1080p i will say though the 5080 and both 5070s look good since they finally actually cut prizes instead of raising them but still need to see the benchmarks from reviewers and AMD fumbling the announcement at CES makes me suspect that they will be a flop launch with all the rebranding and stuff
Well i don't have a pc only laptop but i plan on bulding one as soon as i stack enough and i want one and for all type sh*t so 5080 seems pretty good to me cuz it's same price as 4080 and cheaper than 4080 super so we'll wait till they test it around march to see the actual performance. Nonetheless I'm going 4080 and yeah I'll never do '90 series unless I'm very rich cuz even the '80 series can handle 4K and do 1440p max settings hopefully. I don't rlly have the cash but i wanna build one that can last me 5-10 years at least before even considering changing components.
Australian here, the 5090 is starting at $4300AUD
All I can say is Factorio will look amazing when I get my hands on that 5090.
The biggest problem. Time feels like its going slow to wait on these cards to release
I'm buying 5090 only for it's VRAM bcoz I'm a AI Engineer

You mean 1440p? There’s no sick thing as 2k in gaming
If I can grab a 5070 at 550 ish dollars I might replace my 4060 ti
If you're calling the price of 1000$ for a 80 series reasonable you should visit a doctor
