Boo Miller plays one of the greatest pedal steel guitars, the Emmons ReSound '65! I had an opportunity to play one the last time I was at the Emmons Guitar Company, and it is a beautiful looking and beautiful sounding pedal steel guitar!
It is always a pleasure to sing with everyone at the Opry festival which happens to be my favorite festival ever, thanks for taking time out to listen to my music #genewatsonssongs
It’s always a good time singing at the OPry concert I love it out there every time I see the faces of the audience, thank you Peter Hannam #genewatsonsongs
@@sandburgmartin7947 just a final reminder Gene Watson is not on any social media Network but i have a private signal app that was encrypted by my cyber security and management that i can only text and do some video chat with my fans but not on regular basis and that’s if I choose to #genewatsonsongs
"The Opry, Emmons, and Gene Watson" The late Ron Lashley Sr (a dear friend) and Buddy Emmons (same) invented that type pedal Steel guitar, in 1964. It had a "Push/Pull" mechanism; instead of most, of the others. Which had an "All/Pull" mechanism. And Yes, the PP has the "best" sound! That NO one has ever had. However, The Emmons All/Pull, is VERY close. But believe it or not; on the "Opry" stage; it makes the P/P even better. And that might be why this SG Player got the Emmons' P/P. And not the Emmons' "LeGrande" which is A/P. Plus, most Pedal SG players want the A/P. Because the P/P has mechanical problems (that can not be fixed). And those players don't want that. I'm one of 'em. So I started with a P/P (in '69). But I did NOT like those problems. And when the Lashley "Legrand" A/P came out; I bought it quick. And I love it. Praise Jesus Holy Name. And may He rests Ron Lashley and Buddy Emmons Souls. I will never forget them.

Great guitars but production is very slow. People have been waiting 18 months and still no guitar after putting a down payment.
I saw Gene at the Opry a couple years ago and that same bass player was there. He’s solid and pretty fun to watch😂

Ladies and gentlemen the Grand Ole Opry presents the "VOICE", Mr Gene Watson.
"The Voice" is Vern Gosdin... Gene Watson is just Gene Watson & he's incomparable....
Icon of country music .

I"ve got to hit the loto and get me one of these Emmons guitars.
All that work making such a fantastic pedal steel guitar, I bet the C6th neck wasn't touched!
It’s seems you know so much about guitars my friend!!! I look forward to hearing from you soon #genewatsonsongs
Pandapaw, if they cranked up a Texas Swing or Bob Wills tune I bet he could show us some great work on that C6 bread board.

Emmons is a sound never ever reproduced.. sound of its own, effectively mid neck… of course the big E was the best
The first thing you have to master on the pedal steel guitar is the 3 toed sloth stance.

OK... the bass player... such an eccentric manner.
His instrument and rock star moves look out of place here
If Gene Watson likes him, that's good enough for me.......
The bass player is getting the most visual attn.
The Guitar doesn't make the Music, the Guitar Player does. If I played that guitar, nobody would buy it.... & I don't play that bad...
I’ll always love you 💕💕💋💋🫂🫂 but I won’t be glad 😢
😊❤
❤😂 🎉🎉😮😅😊

What’s the deal w/the bass player?
Son........😵💫
What’s wrong with the bass player?
Biggest distraction: the bass player's antics, like a 5-year-old. STOP already!
You need Rusty Rhoads to demo the 65
