  • Watch the versatile Dyno Kwick Lock Pick in action with this online demo video at LockPickShop. This is the easy lock pick set that’s been featured in Wireless magazine and on the NBC show “Undercovers.” It’s inexpensive and easy to use when breaching locked bathroom doors, file cabinets and briefcases. Learn why we have sold more than 25,000 Dyno Kwick picks when you watch our online how-to video.
This 3-in-1 lock picking tool was invented by a professional locksmith. It has a spring-loaded sure lock, retractable pick and combination tension wrench/pocket clip. To use, just loosen the thumb screw and slide it forward to expose the lock pick. Retighten the screw to secure the pick. Loosen the end cap to release the tension wrench, which will act as a key to open the lock when positioned and turned.
“This product rocks,” writes one fan. “If you need something fast and simple to use that takes up no space and doesn't require a training video, This is the tool to buy,” writes another.

Ad for this pick popped up in Facebook; went to TH-cam, of course, to check it out. Another “too good to be true “ product ? But for around 20 bucks, what do you have to lose … Ordered on a Sunday, it was in my mailbox on Wednesday. Quality build, not cheap feeling or looking about 4 and a quarter inch long. Popped it out of plastic wrap and immediately found a Masterlock cable lock that I used to secure my ladder to the roof carrier. Did the jiggle like in this video and after about 20 seconds, it turned! Fluke ? , tried it a couple times and under a minute it was unlocked. O.k., what about deadbolts to the house … light finger pressure on the turning bar and moderate sawing action, the deadbolt locks to my front door and garage door opened in about as long as it takes to fish a house key out of your pocket, put it into the locks and turn ! The hardest part was figuring out which way to twist the bar, CW or CCW. Spooky easy; too easy…

Looks like a nice EDC (every day carry) tool. It's like the old question "What's the best knife to have in an emergency?" The proverbial answer is "the one you have with you".

I am not very good and certainly not quick with this thing but It Really Works! Mine came with a clear plastic practice lock which is very easy to pick. At first I didn't think it was going to work on a real lock but after watching a video I have managed to defeat Master padlock and a Guardian or two. Some yield up fairly quickly and other escape me but The majority of locks I have attacked do come open. It was particularly helpful in removing a lock that had no available key at all - most helpful-kept me from having to destroy one or more things.

Does anyone know a good substitute for the tension wrench? I found this tool without the tension wrench and need some advice

Get a piece of spring steel and bend it to make your own tensioner. Or buy one.

If I remember right watching another lockpick channel he mentions when there aren't any tricks to deter a lock picking attempt, a quality lock can actually make picking easier because they don't have to deal with things like the lock barely wanting to open with its own key and such that just mean the lock is outright hard to open.

Doesn't matter if you have the tool. It's impossible to use. I have one here and took a class on how to use it. Still can't open jack shit but as soon as someone else picks up the same pick and same lock, they can open it. So this guy is just SUPER-SKILLED and it doesn't appear that way

@@user-qi9pv5ed6n Although your question is old, I think that people put too much pressure on the wrench, try not to really force it, but “feel
“ what the cylinder is doing.
