I think differently, i actually think Neal would be into it because the band Revolution Saints hasn't done nothing new for awhile and I think Jack.Blades and Doug Oudrich is getting worn out
What the heck happened to Hardline? Sounds more like Softline.Fever Dreams was the last epic moment ..This is a misguided affair to me, generic ballad at best,everything is starting to sound like that Alessandro dude on many a Frontier release.Try tapping some of the legendary songwriters (Mark Spiro ,Holly Knight ,Tom Kelly & Billy Steinberg) and Producers ( Ron Nevison,Keith Olsen,Max Norman) if possible and pair them with newer heroes like Erik Martensson, Lars Safsund,Hank Erix ,Andy Sneap for future releases.
You say that they sound like "Softline", despite the fact that their entire album Leaving The End Open is melodic metal, not a single song with heavy sound. And besides, listening an album on the first hour isn't enough to give an honest and proper review. I was like you too, skeptical, with Shinedown's recent album Attention Attention in my first hour hearing it, but after researching and learning that Attention Attention is a concept album, trying to learn the lyrics, understanding the meaning of the songs and a few more times listening to it, the album is excellent. It's another great work courtesy of Shinedown.

Most of the songs from the new album go pretty hard
listen to the whole album dude, it frickin rocks, this one is admittedly one of the weaker ones. But most kick total ass.
