Hello! U have a superb video!!! I am extremely delighted to have been led here!!! I have not seen one video that has shown wonderful close ups or the in-depth close up details of the plant!! With ur videos I’ll be sure to have no problems identifying these wonderful wild edibles, u have nooo idea what this means to me, how happy it makes me. I am TRULY grateful for u, having a channel that actually shows great details of the plants!!! Thank u sooo much!!!!!!!!!!! I subscribed and the biggest thumbs up to you!
I just discovered your channel and I am really enjoying your videos. I have been searching far and wide for this level of plant identification. Your channel is amazing. I’m preparing to learn so much from you.
It's also an important spring source of nectar for the bees and other pollinators. I used to pull it, but now let it stay until seed drop for when the cold returns.
Great video! I need to watch more of yours! Are all varieties of Chickweed edible? Would it grow all winter long in NE Ohio? We get cold winters here but I don’t know how extreme of cold you’re talking about.
Interesting video. Chickweed took over half my garden space last year, nearly drove me crazy, so finding out it was tasty to eat and has medicinal properties makes me less inclined to try to get rid of it. A few years ago my wife and I made dandelion tincture because we always have a bumper crop of dandelions and, also, henbit which I learned was medicinal as well. Perhaps I should quit trying to grow veggies and just sit back and wait until until the weeds start growing and harvest them instead for tinctures, teas, and other things.
If only more people would learn how to make such an excellent presentation on You Tube Well done. 10/10.
