You guy are so good and this key was nice to sing too! My church does it in a D instead of A and I find myself struggling with the harmony. It always feels too high and too low at the same time. But you guys made my day! Ty!

We record these for our worship team vocals to learn, since we don't have mid-week rehearsals (they have to learn it online) so we usually post these to our Planning Center account only. Then we realized a lot of worship teams were finding these 2 videos (posted randomly for Easter when our planning center was faulty) really helpful!

Mostly - Ever Be, 10,000 Reasons, Great Are You Lord, and this song. We need more practice. Our team should have it down but since we don't have practice during week we still don't have it down. That is why I posted your video. We need to understand that God deserves our best in all we do, which includes how we worship. What are you thought.

Those are great songs. We have vocal tutorials for Ever Be & Great Are You Lord in both our female and male song keys. Our video format for 10,000 reasons has had trouble uploading. Our teams do not have mid-week rehearsals either. That is a huge part of why we upload these vocal tutorials for the teams to learn on their own time & come prepare to services. They do such a great job at this :) If a team member can not learn a part by ear, we have them take music lessons to increase their skill level. I hope this is helpful!

Hi Maggie, we don't have a separate recording of the soprano in this key. If you are leading from melody, I would suggest doing the song in the Key of E. That is the key we have the ladies lead this song in for our services. We hope your audition went well!

so does anyone know? I'm tryin to play and audition for this is amazing grace in the key of A. but when I play along with Paul Wickam version everything is sharp. trying to audition and practice but the chart they provided doesn't match the paul wickam version. anyways, I will be playing along with your version since yours is the one that's with the audtion chart. thanks a lot.
Finding a key that suits your voice is very important. We often lower the keys from the original keys recorded by the artists because our congregation sings along with us if it is not too high.
Be sure to check out some of the other vocal tutorials we have uploaded since you were last on this site! There are 20+ songs that have been great for our church in both female and male lead keys!
