    Great video - thanks. FYI it was this line that made me subscribe; "This is the best way to paint this in my opinion.... or we'll see, it could be a total fail...what do I know?" too funny :-)

    Thank you so much for sharing! Love how much time you saved painting everything once it was installed. With no experience dealing with stucco I'm hesitant to drill into it so love how you used the wood strips to mount the lines onto. Liked and subscribed!

    Why not get a 1/4" connector and just remove the first emitter instead of clogging it?

  • @BK-of6pc
    @BK-of6pc 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Thank you for your video, I am going to install these this weekend. Am curious why you chose to mount the lines on wood instead of anchoring them directly into the stucco?

    • @BearsWorkshop
      @BearsWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't want to put 20 holes in the stucco. Also the little brackets that come with it will not fit the proper anchor that is needed for stucco. If I spent some more time looking, I might have found some brackets to hold the 1/4 line but I didn't.

      Are you still happy with this kit 6 months later?

    • @BearsWorkshop
      @BearsWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@BK-of6pc Honestly haven't used it that much. Installed it at the end of the season and it's just barely hot enough now to turn them on. But I did check them out and after a few months of not using them, they turned on just fine and no leaks.

      That's what I intend to do. I saw this on another video. I just received my misting system in today. It's going over my outside air-conditioning system. My energy bill jumped from $136 to $255 this month. It was recommended to try this to cool the system down. I live in the deep south where it is VERY hot. 🔥 Thanks for your video.

    • @Buget-Holodeck
      @Buget-Holodeck 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some reviewers on Amazon just bought brass plugs to swap out for the mister nozzle. They seem to be spaced close enough that you could get a little too much water.

    I tried the orbit version of this and it was a HUGE disappointment vs my brother in laws professional system. I guess the pump power (which is thousands of dollars) has a lot to do with if it’s raining or theme park like mist.

    You need to work on your close-ups and maybe spend a little bit more time explaining how are you attached the wood to the stucco rather than showing us from a distance a bag you might've tried a little bit more explanation of the actual installation.

    This is why I don't buy these mist rope anymore. They don't last long. It never survive Vegas heat. I use the Orbit Cobra Flexible Mist Stand for my Gazebo. It's made of durable flexible plastic. It has 8 nozzles at it's head and it's only $25 at lowes. I got 4 of them. That is 32 nozzles total. It's like a rain forest.

      @@BearsWorkshop I agree, but I’m looking for something more permanent and clean looking. They use what looks like actual metal tubing and they’re having a promotion right now with a new installation, they’ll include a free remote control to control the system.. I’m a sucker for convenience I might go that route 😅

      DON'T buy. These clog within a month! Didn't even get to use them the entire summer. The waterhose that I used for this ran soft water not hard water. Still clogged. Bought a second set....same crap. Tried a third the following year... Same results! Should've learned my lesson. 🤦 Only got 1 month of use each time. Lost 2 chickens due to extreme heat no thanks to these misters.

    I've recenlty bought a set of another brand of this appliance. The nozzles does not spray water as a mist, instead they spray like a sprinkler, the little drops fall down because they are too thick instead of floating around like yours. Could it be because I do not have a water boosting pump, or my product is rubbish?

    Just a suggestion, I would have put some of the plumber's tape on those threads. My major question...do you know the Gallons Per Hour it puts out? I'm thinking of using this where we have our birdfeeders so the birds can get some moisture.

    • @BearsWorkshop
      @BearsWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The amount of water it puts out is a lot if I have the valve opened all the way. It was enough to soak the area around it so I had to close the valve to get the pressure that worked for my patio.
