Why wasn't this a canon thing? That could have set the tone that Sora's darkness is NOT to be underestimated at all! I mean think if Anti Form had other reaction commands in boss fights to make his accidental transformations not so much a punishment, but another way to defeat your foes AND show why the darkness in Sora's heart can make his enemies know fear!
It was really neat despite not being able to do said command. It looked like as if Sora stopped Shan Yu's slash with his own bare hands instead of just the keyblade which is way cooler
I think this is because if you block or parry that attack that leads into that part there, you’ll THEN be able to do the reaction commands, but the startup isn’t from a reaction command
You shouldn't use forms against the Nobody bosses; they have a higher chance of causing of to anti form. Unless you have final form which reduces your anti counter.
@@luckyducky7819 You should only use your 5 free uses before you have 6 Anti Points. Everything else should be using Drives before entering fights or using Limit form alone or in situations where Anti Form CANNOT be triggered due to having forced or background party members.
Imagine, fighting a walking talking dog and duck, a child with an oversized key and the guy, who turns out to be a chick, that almost killed you. "Okay, I have a bird and a couple of demon things, I got this." Then the kid goes "light!" He turns into the same thing your army is and everyone else disappears. "Okay cool easy." Then he just grabs your sword with his bare hands and can almost match you in strength. I'd cry.
Not sure how technical you want it, but what happens here is that he triggered Anti-form at random, and Shan Yu's boss battle has this mechanic that if you parry or block his attacks, you enter that special animation of Sora vs Shan Yu. Usually, you press triangle and push Shan Yu back a few times, and then you can perform an attack that deals a good amount of damage. But Anti Form cannot use reaction commands, so our friend here is locked out and just has to wait. Seems like the developers missed this interaction

That only happens when you and Shen-Yu attack at the same time and your blades (or in this case claws) hit the other

Kind of sucks that you can't really enter anti form willingly. It's always been my favorite
