a real "do as i say not as i do" type of dad. though to be fair, cigars aren't considered as dangerous, they're not nearly as addictive and you're not meant to inhale the smoke. not saying they aren't bad for you, they are, but it's easier to take cigars in moderation. also it's a class thing i guess and it was the 90s, we know a lot better about a lot of things now

Always lovely. I love the fact we're truly fans of The Nanny, we know all the dialogues, we are familiar with her beautiful outfits and we could die for Fran.
That whole “that’s what Newt’s momma called my sister in law” joke is a reference to an interview where Connie Chung got Newt Gingrich’s mom to say that Newt has said to her that Hillary is “a bitch”.
Also the “lucky Bill even let him on that plane” is a reference to an incident where Newt was angry Bill made him ride in the back of Air Force One, rather than up front.
Some people claimed that was part of what motivated Newt to bring on a government shutdown.
