Those are sword techniques, so I sure hope I never have to try them out in a real fight.

@@Porzuc_Ateizm No technique will work in a situation of real violence, none because everything is situational and depends on another type of preparation and factors that are *NOT* obtained in any sports environment, MMA gym or academy of any kind. Because learning to fight "for real" is to live in the environment of rage, pain and violence. This is only reserved for a particular type of persons, it is not for everyone, it's that simple. Eating violence, seeing violence, shitting violence, dreaming violence and breathing violence day after day for years is the way of the fight. If this is not your case, then you live in a fantasy bubble where you believe that your favorite combat sport is going to save your ass simply because it's cool and "works" in a ruled contest. In short:
      *Fake as fuck*
What you say about aikido applies to any other technique, no matter how effective it may seem, because it's never gonna happen the way you think.
First of all, the adrenaline rush. Even if you are an expert in any discipline that you please, your faculties will be impaired and you will not have your fine motor functions due to adrenaline, Why? Because you fear for your life and do not meet the above requirements. Second, fight where? A real fight is a match to the death, it always happens in the least imagined places. There are no rules, no referee, no time, no nothing, just you and death. If someone goes after you, _for real_ he is not going to "play fair". He is going to tear you to pieces with any kind of weapon and ploy in the most savage way.
Be careful when you talk about a "real fight" boy, you could end up without eyes.
