Giving Genesis kids this game while giving the SNES a version of Turtles in Time that was superior to the arcade felt like a slap in the face, and it still does.
So happy I got the Cowabunga Collection for my PS4 playing this old game brings back memories of me and my uncle's playing this all the time cause they knew how much I love the Ninja Turtles. 😊😊😊😊😊
100% agree played and beat this with every turtle when i was a kid ! and I can't wait to play turtles in time because I never had a snes when I was a kid
Nintendo fans always try to bash this game but don't realize the SNES version have missing animation and hit detection problems and stiffness to the controls and it feels like unfinished version the way the game plays
There is a hack version to this where they had the first stage from turtles in time and put it in hyperstone heist it looked and played way better on the genesis
Love both games! I like the run button on this one, and the music is great. Turtles in time has the arcade experience with extra content! The only level I didn't like was when you had to toss foot soldiers into Shredder.

This is what im looking for...this is the stuff. omg i dont think i ever knew you could turn back attack off..lol no wonder...which it dont seem to work from what im seeing lol. o it stops them from approaching u though. Stil doesnt stop an attack coming already if you turn around. That laser got u in the back, and a couple other times i think. Still i think no matter what if there is one coming at you and you have ur back turned it will attack still. idk lol tlking out my ass lol
Even though I enjoyed THH, it was lacking in some aspects. I didn’t like the lack of throwing Foot Soldiers into the screen (or throwing Rock Soldiers across the screen). You know what should have been done instead? A Genesis TMNT game in which the Turtles fight their way to the Technodrome, then get sucked into Dimension X. Then the Turtles explore various alien planets in search of a way home, then the final level should have been Krang’s battleship. And it should have been called… TMNT: Battle Across Dimension X.
...You can't play as Leo and Don. I have a PROBLEM with that.Super Famicom has all 4 Turtles available. Should have made it 4 players(both systems have "Multi tap" inserts for 2 extra controllers. I had both systems in the 90s...).

Turtles in time is a masterpiece and Hyperstone Heist a very good game. But if genesis players want to play a masterpiece they can play to street of rage 2 :)

This game was like a weird hybrid of TMNT: The Arcade Game, TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project and Turtles in Time.

The excitement I felt when my Grand parents rented this game for me. I still feel it when I press start on the title screen "LETS KICK SHELL!"
