I love this idea! Just spent over 1hr.looking at a ton of snuffle mats & treat puzzles on Amazon yesterday & thought it looked like it might be fun to make one myself,but no idea where to begin. I have been buying tie blankets with the fleece at Thrift Stores. For a full size tied blanket I pay like $3 to $4 dollars which I think is a great price! I untie the knots and wash them.

Hi, Cathy,
Basically, the goal is to have one fleece strip for every hole in the toy.... but it's totally up to you. If you use a larger Holee-Roller ball toy, you may need to use two strips for each hole. Or if you'd like you can skip a few holes so that they don't have fleece rolled up in them. Hope this helps!

The important thing is that the fabric doesn't fray so knit might work, you could also try sweatshirt material.

If you have an IKEA near you, they have a fleece blanket that costs about 2 bucks. It's grey so very boring, but cheap and might be easier to find. (found the name: Vitmossa)
