My grandparents had a cottege downstream from this. If you were to hop in a boat from where he's fishing, you would begin to see little cottages on the left bank. All the way to the end is where it was. I spent many summers there on their little John boat fishing, swimming, shooting rats on the banks at night with a 22, camping at the Francis Slocum Trail grounds, and some good family friends run the boat marina on the lake. We always had our pontoon tied up there. That whole area was huge in my childhood thru the 70's. Love seeing these videos.
very cool, your method works great, we use the weighted what i call pin bobbers, hitting that spot this week for some catch and release, we're in Peru from Maine visiting family, cool vid, tight lines Bud

Thank you Steve 👍
Damn, I was there 1st week in September last year, wasn't enough water in there to fish, the pool only had big head carp
Looks like a great spot! Spillways are always fun. I enjoyed it, new sub here!

Awesome beautiful day God blessed us with dinner was just a bonus. Hope to do it again soon.
Same, i had a lot of fun
What kinda baits you guys use? i haven't had much luck at the spillway.
I think this day was just running twister tails and minnows
Hey man from Lafontaine ttting to catch crappie and bass of all kinds right now they aren’t biting at hogs back, any tips ???
Try the spillway yet?
It’s high and dirty, spill way is gushing
Try by the boat ramp. A lot of people think they don't bite in dirty water. They do tho 👍
I fish here often and I always have a hard time working my baits.
Jig a minnow under a bobber near the boat ramp 👍
First day we fished together
You got dinner and didn't have to swim for it. 😆😆 Sorry I hope it's not to soon, but you seem like your a humorous guy
Lol Uncle Jeff has a great sense of humor
its always a good day when i dont have to swim for it :)
Was there today
Any luck??
