There is one oopsy in here that I picked up on once we get in another game (after this was already edited.) As the wagon is a single model I just assumed it activated like a hero but it would use the Levy activation spot instead (and wouldn't be able to activate on a common dice). There is a turn I ended up with all commons but only after I cashed in my Rares. I could have done the same play by using Galvanised on the Wagon instead of the HG and keeping one of the Rares to activate Levy instead of cashing it in activation pool. The original extra die I earned from cashing it in just went on Brothers in Arms and was never triggered anyways (Just gravy really - was hoping to blast through the xbows on that first charge and then have brothers in arms ready in case his Warlord tries to counterattack.) In any case, Game 2 of the campaign is scheduled but not yet recorded. Hopefully we can release it next month!
Wagon has determination (per the errata), so can move without a Saga die but is a mercenary (not loyal) so cannot use advanced Saga abilities I believe.
Nice battle report and start of a series. Pretty excited how this turns out. One rules thing if I see it correctly: In turn 3 at around 30 mins his HG and Warlord should not get a fatigue after their charge imo because they activated via "Nach Osten" before which does not count as an activation in terms of fatigue though.
I am absolutely loving this Campaign idea. Already asked a friend if he would like to try this. Question, once you go from 4 point warband to 5 plus, will the Warlord stop generating two Saga die?
Thanks! We'll see how the final game turns out, if we're still both 'in it' at the end. Campaigns need to be more of an 'activity' to facilitate games rather than its own game, if that makes sense. At 5 points, we'll have the Warlord stop generating the bonus die.
Hehe! Some have theorized he's being held hostage and forced to play against his will. I'm going to have to have him read a statement of free will at the start of the next battle! :)
Where did you get the Lithuanian Minis? I really want some medieval historical Lithuanian minis. Not really interested in painting them, just want to know where you got them.

@@AJsWargaming Galvanised works with mercs. As well as eny other orders or orders/reaction advanced Saga abilities.
Rodge, I love this battle report. Please do more!
Well, the plan is four more to finish out the campaign but the timetable is uncertain. Hopefully one a month!
Thank you very much for showing the forces. Great miniatures.
Thanks Scott!
I love that you showed the models at the beginning. Thank you.
Thanks Scott!
Great idea for a series! Looking forward to more action as you guys battle it out in the North!
Thank you! Should be fun!

Thanks Simon! The HG did not get a fatigue but by the time the Warlord rolled around, we had forgotten!
Loving that war wagon. I see you prefer the Lithuanians! So many ways to play the princes.
Thanks AJ! I don't have any xbow levy and probably never will with these guys so I'm locked in!

Check out the Heathens Show and Tell for info on the various manufacturers used.
