- One year ago this was just a dram, today I'm living it! Don't rush, take it step by step and enjoy the road! (literally)
This setup was only able to achieve through patience, dedication, lots of money and the amazing people at GTOmega who believed in me as a tiny streamer, and later on Moza. And of course my Twitch family who made me who I am today.

Hey riftblondie. Cool setup 😊. I'm sorry you had to go through some bad stuff to get where you are now but you got to where you wanted to be so that's great!. I myself have just upgraded to a dd for the first time. The Simagic alpha mini. It's so cool. After having a thrust master t248 for a while it's world apart from gear and belt drive, I did have a lot of fun on that wheel though

i bougth my 1st DD wheel and base after 9 years in sim racing and about 6k hours of sim racing

Sim racing can take you down the financial rabbit hole FOR SURE..... I was playing on console with controller only 2 years ago.... within 6 months had first wheel and pedals (csl elite) with foldup rig... within the year second DD wheel and pedals and stronger rig.... and since the start of the year added triple 32s to the rig.... but console can't handle them.... so I built a PC for ACC online - Ryzen 7800x3d, RX 6800, 64 gb ram, 6TB storage, etc, etc.
All in both rigs and now computer right around $5000 USD and still growing ... luckily I don't stream so no video/audio necessary, although I do have a good studio mic that was given to me and a web cam if I ever get there 😂

I had the same thing happening with my pc, my old one could not handle all the upgrades I was doing so I had to build a new one
I Need to start streaming too . I do vr though so idk if that’s fun to watch . Nice set up and definitely add a wind sim if you can . That and a button kicker will really change your experience . Especially a buttkicker. Find a gamer 2 if you can locally big bang for buck

Did you use the boost kit on the csl? I just purchased one but I'm upgrading from a g29 so I thi k the difference will be big.
I dont think she used... as far as i seen on streams she changed the base to another brand...

Looks incredible. I’m still undecided on if I should get my dream setup Fanatec for ps5 but possibly have big problems.
3months waiting for order
No order shipping confirmation
Item arrives faulty
Develops fault in hours, weeks, months
Have to possibly wait 1 month plus to send back for return
Possibly wait up to 3 months for new order to be shipped
Or my only other direct drive option for ps5 and that’s Logitech g pro wheel.
This option will be much less stress.

But only 1 wheel, no others, only 1 cheap stick shifter and no handbrake
If I absolutely loved the feel of Logitech g pro, I’d be happy. At least for a year or 2.
I mean I don’t have to buy loads of wheels and would be happy with say 2 round wheels, 1 d shape and 2 f1 wheels
So I just don’t know what to do.
Part of me says take the chance with Fanatec. It might go great. Quick shipping delivery, no problems but if I do this option and it goes bad, I’ll be stressing and if I go safer Logitech option and am not happy with the quality and just 1 wheel, I’ll also be unhappy.
It don’t help that I’m after buying an all in 1 dj controller. No laptop required and this will cost £1000-£2500 depending on what I buy.
Of course, if amazon had Fanatec stock, I’d order in a heartbeat and know it will go smooth and if it don’t, Amazon will help me like a respected seller.

Hi! I read all of that! First of all, you have to think very well about your purchase. I had good luck when I ordered from Fanatec and it came in not even 2 weeks ( I live in Romania), but heard a lot of complains about the shipping. Second of all, think about your budget, how much are you willing to spend, do you want to have the wheel for a long time or just for a year?
Make a list of what you want and see it on paper what’s the better option ☺️
@@riftblondie well, on paper it’s Fanatec all day long.
For what I want to buy it will cost £1700 without sequential shifter or about £2000 with. I have money and am happy to pay. I just worried about problems.
I’d like to keep for many years 15nm wheelbase, Wrc CSL elite wheel and the pedals for £300
But if I did chicken out and buy Logitech for now, that will cost £1300 ish and I’d keep that for a year or so and possibly move to Fanatec.
I guess I’ll either make my mind up 1 day or forever be in limbo and stick with my old Logitech g29 😭
Anyway with all the worrying I have about my purchase. I hope that all your equipment stays working and you don’t have horror stories, like others , with many problems. 👍
@@grahamkelly8662 Thank you! To be honest, since I switched to Moza I have not had one single problem with my whole setup, much better than Fanatec, but as I said I had an entry level from Fanatec so I can not really compare them.

Hi! Probably, but thankfully I was able to only keep it on the rig for a month, and now I’m 100% enjoying my Moza 😁
@@riftblondie never tried the Moza, but I’m sure its better than the csl dd. I have their H pattern shifter which actually feels pretty good… your next upgrade for base should be the simucube pro 2.. best base IMO
For me it was a huge difference, everything Fanatec didn't have Moza has (Feedback, ex: if I go over an Apex at 2km per hour I feel it under the wheel), but I can't really compare since the price difference is more than double. For now I am happy with this base, but who knows in the future. :)
