  • In Part 4 of my Fusion 360 Beginner's Guide we start to move away from our construction brick to introduce some new tools. I show you how to create Offset Planes and then we dive into using the Revolve Tool to create a new Cylindrical Brick. Along the way I talk you through my strategy for referencing existing geometry and how to use the timeline for the correct order of operations. I also introduce the Project Command and the Shell Modifier.

Hey Agustin! Thanks for the kind works ! Variable tutorial is up! Technically Fusion refers to them as parameters so the video title is “How to Use Parameters for More Efficient Modeling”

I had a little problem with the collinear constraint, the construction line on the brick moved towards the line in the new peg, instead of the other way around!
Hopefully, you said there is a better way using variables, which is a concept I am more familiar with...
Next I am going to try and practice some V-carve on the CNC.
After that I plan on learning how to carve 3D reliefs.
I've seen many people using Aspire or Carveco for 3D carving, but I would kinda rather stick to Fusion 360 so I don't have to buy another license...
Anyway, I would love to hear your opinion (and maybe a tutorial!) on 3D carve with Fusion 360!
    Cheers!
