    Sounds like just what I need! I have high porosity hair and I realize now I've been using the wrong products for my type of hair. I'm going to give this a try. Thank you!

    It doesn’t flake on my hair 🤷🏾‍♀️I suggest putting some oil in it to make it less thick ☺️

    The Cantu isn't a favorite of mine because I have extremely coarse hair that is thick but it isn't bad at all for the price. And the way you explained it is exactly correct. People tend to want to be heavy handed with products but it is totally not necessary. I tend to always remove the excess from my hair and I've never had a problem with flakes. Your hair looks absolutely healthy and moisturized. I don't think you need to use a product daily if you don't need to. It should be as needed. Keep up the great work Jo. Always informative!!!😍😍😍😁

      All of the above is true. I have very thin hair, but I think the protein treatments that I have been doing is helping my hair to become coarse in a good way. I think my hair is most def stronger. Thanks as always Jo... 😍😍😍😁

    Thing about cantu is that definition,shine or moisture doesn't last pass like two days. Your hair doesn't look particular defined, soft or moist.

    cantu is my line of choice, love it

    I bought the Cantu leave in conditioning repair cream,and it's apparently Great for Relaxed,texturized,colored and permed hair..now my hair is purely Natural...will it hurt my hair. Is there one that's specific for natural hair.? I feel at a loss.

    Please tell me how many hours you leave in your hair

  • @Ms88keys1
    @Ms88keys1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This was kinda helpful, I have a 2 step process, I use the leave in like you say and remove excess then I come behind with Flaxseed gel, and..........no flakes

    I personally, don't like the product. There are so many other products that are better....Shea moisture....Camille Rose....Alikay.... to name a few....but if the price is a factor... then Cantu is the cheapest of the above mentioned... however....Curl la la by Aunt Jessie is about the same price ....smells better....and gives better curl definition...in my opinion...but I guarantee you will love any of the other products.... and I am a type 4b/c woman...

      I agree with you. I tried Shea moisture and it made my hair dry and tangled. Left it flaky. So I had to fix it by adding Camille Rose and it left it so soft and moisturized

    From my experience, ANY hair product that contains aloe, WILL flake. Aloe just flakes🤷‍♀️

    This product leaves the hair flaky, probably because it was formulated for black hair is chemically altered: relaxed, textured, colored, parked hair. It's on the bottle. I'm going to use it on my natural hair tho.

    • @StolenHistoryChannel
      @StolenHistoryChannel  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably. On the bottle it says that is it great for natural hair too.

      i didn't care for it either until i started sitting it in hot water to warm it up a bit.... which allowed it to penetrate my low porosity hair a lot better. HEAVEN!
