    dose this module remove the abs warning light on the dash?

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it depends. Reach out to George at alpha racing if you're in the states and he can help you but, my understanding is it completely disables the ABS system while retaining traction control.

    I looked up the abs delete part number you showed for the abs pump module on alphas site and it’s not coming up.. any way you can share a link for where you found that? I have the alpha racing block off plate for the abs delete which isn’t working because my lights are still staying on.. I would like to try the one you showed.. thanks! Have you changed the suspension? If so, Did you install the DDC module for the fault?

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did change the sus. I’m running GP Suspension 25mm cartridges up front and a Nitron Racing Pro out back. Both with a custom setup for my weight and the track. But I did not install the DDC module. My S1krr is a first gen. I don’t believe DDC was an option back then.

      @@ESBKLife ok thanks for the reply. Currently converting my 2020 S1000rr to race next year. Gotta a lot of parts to change out. Just took the ABS out and ordered Ohlins cartridge kit and TTX GP shock. I saw a video where guy left the backing on the ABS pump, not sure why

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ericwilliams1977 there are several ways to bypass the abs pump. One way is to disconnect the brake lines then put a backing plate on the pump to cover the line openings. Personally I prefer to remove the entire pump, eliminating abs and saving weight.

    • @ericwilliams1977
      @ericwilliams1977 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ESBKLife I agree, that’s the way I’m gonna do it. Gonna order new lines from Alpha Racing along with the delete modules for that and DDC and order some handle bar controls.

    With scraping ABS pump you're deleting whole electronic package or TC will be still active just relying on engine management?

    • @ESBKLife

      With this ABS delete module from alpha, it retains TC.

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @ESBKLife

      Alpha racing has no affiliate locations. The guy in NY is George and he changed the name of his company. I don’t remember what it is off hand. But there are a number of vendors that sell Alpha parts, superbikeunlimited.com, hustle hard racing, Hsbk racing are a few.

    • @jesseboswell6497
      @jesseboswell6497 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is the ABS elimination alpha racing plug

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jesseboswell6497 ok that plug has nothing to do with your taillights. It simply allows you to remove all of the ABS components from the bike. If the taillights aren’t working, start with the most obvious things, bulbs, fuses, wire connections.

    Hello Sir,
    I own 2013 S1000rr, my throttle has some give before it engage do you know how to make it tighter I tried the wires coming from the body but still I have some slag is there anywhere else I can try thank you

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Tarik. There are no cable adjustments on the throttle body assembly, so if you used the cable adjusters at the throttle then there’s really only 2 option left. Replace the cables or clear then reset adaptations. You’ll need a GS911 tool to do that. They run anywhere from $150 to $400 used vs new. No guarantee it’ll work, your cables just might be stretched too far. They run about $70 a piece and you need 2.

    Do all brake lines have same inner diameter? I've seen some triumphs use 2 lines to each caliper. Will this improve braking performance?

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know about "all" but sport bike brake line are pretty standard. Although I've never seen a bike with 2 lines running to each caliper? Not sure what triumph was trying to accomplish there?

    • @kevinpinheiro2485

      @@ESBKLife I guess it was a mod done by that rider. I have a KTM RC 390 and put a brembo RCS 19. I noticed that the brake lever position kinda changes a bit. Like after the brakes heat up...the lever moves a bit away. Is that normal?

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinpinheiro2485 completely normal with regular rubber/oem lines. Get some SS lines and some quality brake fluid and that will go away for the most part. I use Motul 660 in my all of my bikes now.

      @@ESBKLife both rear and front are ss from factory. I replaced the front with hel brake lines. Using liquimoly dot 5.1. also I haven't bypassed the abs unit. Is that y I'm facing the brake problem? Like after it cools down the lever comes to normal position

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kevinpinheiro2485 no I don't think its abs related. Sounds more like moisture or air in the lines. But then again, if you're an aggressive rider or track the bike, this could be normal. I have an adjuster on my track bike. I get a little fade towards the end of the day where I need to adjust them a bit. But I've never experienced this on any of my street bikes. I take that back, I did have an 05 gixxer 750 that had horrible brake fade lol

    Now I have to ask, why not need/use the PC5?

    • @ESBKLife
      @ESBKLife  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In theory with a proper ecu flash and map you shouldn't need a piggyback unit like a pc5. However, I recently found out that the RCK2 software has limitations on the fuel and ignition table input values. So the pc5 is going back on to fine tune the mapping.
