I instantly dropped a dislike when he put rasenshuriken in A. And he said the low end of A really? Same catalogue as the Fireball jutsu. When was the last time Fireball jutsu actually hurt somebody?
Aesthetic Bubblie Madara fireball isn’t really a fireball at all, more like a tsunami of fire which took dozens of water style jutsu to balance. Naruto was able to create rasenshuriken in couple of weeks because he can clone himself a thousand times. Multiply that time to a thousand then you get the idea of how much time a normal person need to create it. Minato couldn’t do it, Kakashi couldn’t do it and he expected 14-16 years Naruto should’ve known the rasenshuriken before shippuuden -_-

I would’ve put zabuzas mist Jutsu up to “A”. For me it was like a perfect, quintessential ninja move. So many moves in naruto are just crazy super-hero type powers that don’t seem very ninja-like. Hidden mist jutsu just seemed like the most “ninja” move with how it is used to disappear and assassinate. Made me think all Jonin would be crazy assassins.
That and the infinite darkness jutsu definitely more ninja than DBZ 😂

Probably because the base Sharingan became obsolete after Sasuke’s fight with Naruto at Final Valley. Nobody ever used that jutsu copying ability ever again.
Well (and im going by the official naruto jutsu rating here) the rasengan is an a tier jutsu and the rasenshuriken is an s tier jutsu that immediately got put on the forbidden jutsu list. The sharigan is the base but that doesnt propel it into s rank. The other jutsu are just better.

Kirin is such a cool jutsu, but sadly it never really damages anyone. It’s sad; it seems like the perfect finisher for Sasuke, especially since his fights in early Shippūden paint him as such a tactical fighter.

Boiling Pot, Yeah but I’m saying it’s kind of like fire jutsu in Naruto they should be threatening, but they always seem to be negated in some way. Itachi just negated Kirin with the Yata Mirror (or base Susanoo depending on interpretation). Itachi did basically admit he would have died to it without using the Yata Mirror/Susanoo, but that doesn’t change the fact he did. Naruto straight up just tanked it in the anime. Like, it stunned him like a god damn joy buzzer would stun a normal person. (Also when I say fire jutsu I am NOT counting Amaterasu as Sasuke classified that as a separate nature release i.e. Enton/Inferno Syle)

Kirin is also really cool because Itachi was certainly holding back on Sasuke for the majority of the fight. But, once he saw it summoned, he was literally going "Oh ... my little brother is about to actually murder me, I better SUMMON MY-" and zap. Also seeing it used again to pin down Naruto's Kyuubi Avatar was super dope.

Well, it was prolly to suck up to itachi. I mean, who wouldn't but yeah, completely spoiled Kurenai's arc. But even then, that gen doesn't really get that much spotlight anyway. Like we came to know about Asuma very late overall, AND saw very little of his younger story, and as for Choji's dad, we primarily saw him getting killed by pain.
Any more of that gen's char that were barely expanded upon? Another is Kiba's mother.

that is the most broken jutsu in naruto. that is why kishi dropped it completely. The ability sasuke gets with his rinnegan is basically substitution jutsu. That is how broken it is.
I spent the whole series trying to figure out the logic in substitution jutsu. If someone is fast enough to find themselves a log and place it where they were, why couldn't they just dodge it? What's with the extra step of finding and placing a log there. Also did a shuriken or kunai ever really pose a threat when when everyone is fast enough to look for a log, go back to where they were and place it there before the shuriken ever hit them?

I'm pretty sure you transfer your soul and whatever into a log and then switch the log with your (empty shell) body
Substition isn't what you guys think. It's just a transformed log. It hasn't been the person for a long time. It's a combination of transformation jutsu and the body flicker technique

Yeah, regrettably I'm pretty sure Kishi forgot the whole "striking your organs directly" portion of the Gentle Fist. Since the 64 Palms closes all of one's chakra points, Naruto effectively had *all* of his organs absolutely beaten to shit by Neji. Imagine having your heart, brain, liver and kidneys directly struck by a master martial artist and then being like "Nah, this is fine". Man, how I love manga logic xD

Also Swagkage: Uzumaki barrage is dumb because Naruto saw Lions barrage and did his own thing but with shadow clones. Once again Swagkage: Naruto's is lame because copied sasuke even though sasuke copied Lee. But since Naruto didn't do it with sharingan, it's not as cool

How are you putting chidori in the same tier as raikiri but the rasenshuriken variations below the rasenshuriken. There is even less difference between raikiri>chidori than there is between rasenshuriken and maybe lava-rasenshuriken.

Obviously a genius like sasuke in combination with sharingan made for a cool rehash of Lee's taijutsu. But it just impresses me a bit more to see a complete dumbass (Naruto) use a jonin level A rank ninjutsu in combination with lee and sasuke's moves. And Naruto didn't even meed sharingan.

I literally said to myself once you got to Kirin that S tier doesn't justify how strong and beautiful this attack is and how perfectly choreographed in Sasuke vs Itachi makes it a class of its own. Its def Sasuke best example of his creativity and power and his patience to set up his opponent
As long as Flying Thunder God, from the GOAT Minato, is S tier, we're good.

Not only is it one of the most overpowered jutsu in the series, Flying Thunder God definitely has the coolest name of any jutsu.

I thought Jugo’s clan-senjutsu was pretty interesting. Anyone without the fluids they produce will die taking in as much natural chakra as they do, but instead of dying, they look like monsters and go crazy. And the Curse Mark is a cool way to contextualize and dignify Sage Transformation, while also making something iconic AND giving it a heavy risk.
I just think that the curse mark could've done without being connected to sage transformation, keeping it as stage 1 (which, imo, looked way cooler).
