    Hey, Barrett, I feel that South Korea is about where Japan was about 8 years ago in the Zeitgeist. It is "becoming" approachable to adventurous people from the US. It would have been nice to get a more descriptive explanation of the food--how you might relate it to a similar Japanese dish, or, the raw essence of it. Always great to see your vids as your camera work is stellar!

      That sounds about right I think. Compared to the Japanese information that my wife often sees about Korea, there's way more than what's available in English since it's still a bit of a "newer" destination for a lot of Westerners. I've realized I'm not the best at describing food lol

    Some Michelin restaurants are too pretentious for my taste…great video btw…thanks for sharing your journey with us…

      Totally agree. I actually didn’t know these were in the guide until after. For the first one, I just wanted to try a little “higher-end” Korean since I hadn’t before. The crab place had good reviews so we went.
