@@alexanderpostings7208 Another easy run in and struggling against four mediocre teams and just scraping through against a good but limited side, whilst playing some the least attractive football in the tournament. I would say perhaps Southgate could ask Labour on how to mount an attack from the left but they're not exactly stocked in that department either.
Sidegate should drop Kane and Foden and Start Toney and Palmer but wont drop his favourites......

The current use of Kane makes the entire attack useless. Defences are dealing with him so easily. The team performance has absolutely nothing to lose by putting Toney or Watkins in. Kane isn't functioning as a striker/forward.
England were still poor when he was subbed off against Denmark.

Whats the point in even discussing his team ! Last week there was all these stories about how we are changing the formation, and look what happened ? Changed 1 player he had to because they were booked. The one thing Southgate doesn't see is how lucky we have been ! Ramsay was brave enough in 1966 to play Hurst and not Greaves. If Southgate wants to emulate Ramsay then he had to grow a backbone. Dropping Kane is not a risk when you have Watkins and Toney , fresh and energised….and they are both good finishers.
Mr Southgate has prioritised defence because he has learned that the team with the best defence goes the furthest. If you want to win the tournament we can't attack with abandon.

Dropping Kane wont solve all the problems. Walker is a defensive liability who offers nothing going forward, Rice is a sideways and backwards passer. Foden is a system player who needs that Pep system to perform and Bellingham is awful and has been awful since February but he gets away with it becuase he plays for Real Madrid, if he played like that at Arsenal everyone would be slating him.
