I asked my wife when we pulled away “did I say Faster with Finnegan?!?!” Bro, I turned into a 15 year old girl out there & didn’t even know you were recording. LOL Thanks for making my 42nd EPIC Dave! Love the video man, keep doing your thing…we love the content and the builds brother!!!
You inspire so many of us, you and Fred. Didn’t expect such an awesome response, I expected someone to respond “you got a 10mm?” LOL Thank you, brother! 👊🏻
Love the fact you gave a fan a minute of your time. Shows us how real you are and that you're not just "Some Dude" on the Internet. Can't wait to see more Minitruckin content from you Dave!
Just wanted to add my two cents that Dave really is that cool in person! I was at an event where showed up to, and he was surrounded by people offering advice to everyone that asked anything about their trucks. I didn’t want to geek out and do the whole fan thing but i got the chance to talk to him and he even complimented my little truck, super cool guy!
Its great to see you and fred together again! I grew up watching dirt everyday with my dad, its was me and my brothers favorite part to find the pink fluffy guy in the back of the shows! Makes me happy to se yall still hanging out after the shows ended.
i passed you guys on the way to big bear. i did the holcomb valley loop in the snow. it was good in the fresh snow. i almost came down the back way through 2n02 attlesnake canyon. but it looked like it might have flash flooded. it was a good day with low dust. thanks for the video.
Samurai/Sidekicks were so much fun. I think the coolest thing was being able to switch n swap gears in n out n backwards to get ratios. Plus there was a $#|+ ton of em. 👍👍
I always enjoy seeing your latest videos but the ones where you get to hang out with your buddies are even better! So cool that you can drive out in the middle of the desert and have people identify you like that!
With our groups we always try and keep the guy behind in sight and most have radios, that way if some one in the back has issues we can all stop....No one left behind....and yes we have open land like that in AZ too and it is awesome
Looks like a great time was had by all! Very cool to see you and Fred together again doin what ya love to do! Peace out and thanks for takin us along!!!
I would geek out too if I seen you and Fred out on the trail. You two are awesome guys and have made us laugh for a long time. Happy birthday to Fred. Why don’t people build geo trackers? Keep up the awesome entertainment.
That was great. I loved the dude who was all stoked to see you, if I ever run into you I'll be worse LOL I was stoked to see how stoked he was. That looked like a fun trip.
Meeting guys like you is always epic when you are just doing your own fun car stuff. I ran into Gene Winfield with my family at a small town classic car swap meet once. It was rad.
Dude! I literally just built almost the exact same seats as your buddy in the orange jeep and didn't even know they were a thing. Everything is the same but I did black piping instead of orange.
That looked like so much fun! I was cracking up when two of you were racing through the trail in Samurais! That's all kinds of rad! I need to talk my brother into going in on a Samurai project 🤔
@@thedirtheadshed Every one I've watched you be involved in does pretty damn good on rocks, in mud, or wherever. Good eye on catching that rear suspension coming loose on the other rig btw 👍
@@thedirtheadshed btw, you had mentioned doing a Q&A awhile back in one of your episodes and I think that'd be pretty cool if you found time for it. 👍 I have some basic fabrication questions I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on as well as the whereabouts and recent sightings of Pink Bigfoot that we don't speak of 😎😏
idk what Fred’s future plans are but I kinda get a feeling he’s just early retired lol. Would be rad if you guys did the show again but c’est la vie. Epic video man. Camera work turned out great and nice job on all these motortrend shows
Cool place for sure. When You were talking about the house's the first thing I wondered what about water? Wonder if or how much land out there will perk for a well. Off topic. 👏 A bunch of cool Rig's & a great time. 😉👌
I wish that the Motor Channel would do some more 4WD/Offroad related stuff! Just watched an episode of a new Ford Lightening getting a Borla speaker system with pre programmed exhaust noises.
Hey Dave, been watching You and Fred's videos for years, (Happy Birthday Fred), I got my 1st dent on Mottino back in 2017, it's a fun trail. Looks like perfect weather for wheeling Rattle Snake and Mottino, it's really hot in the summer, I'm staying home avoiding the KOH crowd, but back out there as soon as it's over! Thanks for the wheeling content, love it, keep it up! P.S. love Mom's Spaghetti
Looks like a cool place to go wheeling, most I have done is drive through corn fields or wood's here in Indiana . Lol there is a place south of Lafayette IN but never been able to go there . Good video looks like Fred had a good time 👍
11:56 if that raggedy California governor had his way you wouldn’t even be able to go up there. I’m pretty sure the dude was so excited to see you. He came up with them blank in his mind when he tried to tell his wife what show you were from not this channel but when y’all did dirt every day, he was definitely stoked to meet you.
Living in eastern Washington, it's possible I'll see you on a trail one day. Considering I'm driving an 84 Hilux on 33"s it's more likely I'll see you at a gas station. Either way I'd love to say how much I enjoy your content.
You've gotta stop showing the rad Zuks man - I don't need another project, but I'm struggling to resist the urge to hit marketplace! Looks like a great time out there
Have run the trail a number of times. That wash is no fun. My wife will no longer ride with me in our two door JK (lifted and on 37s) when we wheel there. Four doors and JLs ride a lot nicer. We were camped at Cougar Buttes one time and I drove my buggy there. Mattino is fun in a Jeep and there are a lot of fun lines in a buggy. The problem is that it takes a lot of time to ride there and back to Cougar Buttes. I live half an hour from JV, so it is really fun wheeling in the area.
Looks like you were practicing for KOH there. Lol. I was in town at Oxarc today and almost stopped at your job, but I wanted to beat traffic out of town. Good thing I didn't. You wouldn't have been there!

I appreciate the support dude!
You made “ birthday boys” day. Nice job.
He was stoked
Race wheeling absolutely hilarious/ Filar's TJ sounded amazing.
Happy birthday Fred!
Everything can be a race car
And yet, Dave didn’t race despite having the fastest car in the bunch: a rental car. 😂

I LOVED the pink sasquatch!! One of my favorite easter eggs to look forward to.
awesome to see Frank the Tank out on the trails!
He seems to be really enjoying the new Jeep
Watching this, i felt like I was hanging with my buddies. Thanks for this, Dave.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This video makes me want to attend the Eric Filar rock crawling school!
Great video, Dave!
You slayed it
I had no idea that there was a school for Rock Crawling, cool😊
@@morganweast4228 I think it's more like a school of fish than a school of education, although learning does happen...
Another great wheeling vid! And I’m not going to lie, I’d probably geek out just as much as that guy if I ran into you guys on the trail.
I appreciate that!
Man, that Samurai beat you up! Always cool to see someone you’ve watched on a media platform, especially someone who is welcoming.
Yeah. There’s a little room for improvement. Always is
If I ever get a Samurai, gonna call it Bonsai Stomper. That's what these remind me of.
That’s a good name

Right on. Sounds like a rad loop
That was a fun one! You and Fred are still the dynamic duo together!
We need to get back to hanging out more
I've never seen rock racing like this before. That was awesome.

There is a lot of open land in Utah as well. Great episode.
That is true. Utah is awesome

The Samurai's are soo cool. I used to have a 1979 Chevy (Isuzu) 4X4 Luv truck.
Wished today that I never sold it..
Yeah. They come and go. I miss a few of my old rigs too
BTY those Sami's are fun BAD ASS little crawlers!!!
