During the debut showcase there was a story to the song and their debut. So basically a boy wakes up with a headache and looks in the mirror and finds that he has grown horns on his head. He then fears what people will think and what they will say about him. The boy starts calling himself a monster and runs away from everyone finding a light. When the boy walks into the light he instantly disappears, and another boy appears but this boy has wings instead of horns. The boy then finds happiness because the other boy with wings as gone through the same thing. The song is basically saying how the boy with the horns and the boy with the wings are coming together and realizing that they complete each other and that they understand each other. I love their songs and the title track :) I am NOT comparing BUT I am pretty sure the story they have and BTS story link up. Too many lyrics and symbolic meanings that are the same. I do think people miss out on it and call this "generic". For example (not exact words): Bow, star, flowers, loneliness, Save me, looking in the mirror, transformation, being bad/monster, who you, who am I, wings, pain, stop suffering, embracing, two of us that are diffrent but connected to eachothers, devil, windows, blue sky, storm, magic, horns (from Begin teaser), running in a tunnel, sitting on grass and more. The MV also shows more symbolic meanings that appear in BTS MV's as well. Tbh I do think BTS and TXT link up with everything (even if people do not want to think that way), yes they are THEIR OWN GROUPS, but still all the lyrics, meanings etc are very spiritual in many ways :)

I've always kinda thought of crown as being about someone being with someone else who society deemed inappropriate or not right, like the feelings of doubt and having horns/being a monster/evil, and the line talking about being with either the person they love or a "cold sneer". But then the chorus with the horns being a crown is saying to love what makes you different
from what i've learned so far, a boy woke up one morning with horns growing on top of his head. people started whispering about him and talking behind his back and he got really insecure about it so he ran away into "the darkness" ,, but in the darkness he finds a light. when he enters it, he meets a boy with wings who tells him he likes his horns. and that's when the horns turn into a crown (metaphorically, i think) because he suddenly found someone who made him feel like his horns deserved to be considered a crown instead of something that turned him into a "monster" ,, as they keep saying. that's all i know. personally i think it's about how you shouldn't let what everyone else says or thinks of you change how you see yourself. and that even if it seems like there's no light in the dark, there's a boy with wings out there who thinks you're cool. and that makes you think you could be cool too.
From the debut show from MNET ‘Crown’ is a story of a boy who gets these ‘horns’ (I interpreted it as abnormalities or something which separates him from the rest of the “normal” world) and gets judged by the people around him. That individual then finds another boy, but instead of horns, he has wings (a different “abnormality” or pain, “are your wings the same pain as mine”) but they understand one another and support each other through the pain and worry, realising that although they have these “pains”/ something that separates them from society, they wear it like a “Crown” and become proud of who they are. I'm not sure but BTS took the wings concept for a while and changed their logo to it (wings) so that might be a chance or maybe just an angel who saved TXT from mean people.

I love their songs and the title track :) I am NOT comparing BUT I am pretty sure the story they have and BTS story link up. Too many lyrics and symbolic meanings that are the same. I do think people miss out on it and call this "generic".
For example (not exact words): Bow, star, flowers, loneliness, Save me, looking in the mirror, transformation, being bad/monster, who you, who am I, wings, pain, stop suffering, embracing, two of us that are diffrent but connected to eachothers, devil, windows, blue sky, storm, magic, horns (from Begin teaser), running in a tunnel, sitting on grass and more. The MV also shows more symbolic meanings that appear in BTS MV's as well.
Tbh I do think BTS and TXT link up with everything (even if people do not want to think that way), yes they are THEIR OWN GROUPS, but still all the lyrics, meanings etc are very spiritual in many ways :)

I've always kinda thought of crown as being about someone being with someone else who society deemed inappropriate or not right, like the feelings of doubt and having horns/being a monster/evil, and the line talking about being with either the person they love or a "cold sneer". But then the chorus with the horns being a crown is saying to love what makes you different

from what i've learned so far, a boy woke up one morning with horns growing on top of his head. people started whispering about him and talking behind his back and he got really insecure about it so he ran away into "the darkness" ,, but in the darkness he finds a light. when he enters it, he meets a boy with wings who tells him he likes his horns. and that's when the horns turn into a crown (metaphorically, i think) because he suddenly found someone who made him feel like his horns deserved to be considered a crown instead of something that turned him into a "monster" ,, as they keep saying. that's all i know. personally i think it's about how you shouldn't let what everyone else says or thinks of you change how you see yourself. and that even if it seems like there's no light in the dark, there's a boy with wings out there who thinks you're cool. and that makes you think you could be cool too.

From the debut show from MNET ‘Crown’ is a story of a boy who gets these ‘horns’ (I interpreted it as abnormalities or something which separates him from the rest of the “normal” world) and gets judged by the people around him. That individual then finds another boy, but instead of horns, he has wings (a different “abnormality” or pain, “are your wings the same pain as mine”) but they understand one another and support each other through the pain and worry, realising that although they have these “pains”/ something that separates them from society, they wear it like a “Crown” and become proud of who they are.
That’s my interpretation anyways! I love the song and the choreo! ❤️

It was a boy who woke up realizing he suddenly had a horns in his head. People then called him monster that is why he wanted to run away and disappear. But then a 'boy with wings' told him that he has CROWN.
From my understanding, the message was really beautiful since it taught us to be positive and accept/love our imperfections.💜💜

the story is basically about a boy who woke up one day with horns grown out of his head, people started calling him a monster because of it. So in the animation a boy runs into the darkness and kept running until he found a light. And when he followed the light and found a boy with wings and he and the boy clicked. so this song is probably talking about the boy with the horns who's probably thanking the other boy (with wings) who saved him from those mean people and found peace and happiness.
-hint a musical instrument was used that was in the wings album of BTS: --3:15-
random thought: probably hinting that BTS saved TXT? I'm not sure but BTS took the wings concept for a while and changed their logo to it (wings) so that might be a chance or maybe just an angel who saved TXT from mean people.
